Our Story: MADE in Mourne was originated by Jenna Stevenson, a young entrepreneur from Kilkeel. In 2017 Jenna set up her business in Belfast but when baby number two came along she had to move her business back to Kilkeel. Jenna saw an opportunity for like-minded people to come together, and the Mourne Entrepreneurs Network was formed. The network identified a need for a functional space to meet and work, and with the generous help and support of local businesses

We even constructed our own bottling washing machine! We have designed the logo and all labels too; we enjoy all the creative outlets the craft beer scene allows. In 2018, after upscaling for the first time, we jumped on the 'canned wagon' with a fresh new look deciding to purchase a canning machine and force carbonating." Murlough Beach Murlough Beach is a Blue Flag beach which includes a wide flat sandy beach. Backed by an ancient sand dune system, it is designated as a National Nature Reserve. Spelga Dam Reservoir Spelga Dam is located 7 miles from Newcastle. A man made dam built in 1960 it resides in the townland of Spelga, in the Mourne Mountains.
