Dream Nashville Printers Alley Hotel Elevator Lobby and Guestroom Corridors | Meyer Davis | Completed 2018 History & Inspiration Printers Alley, a historic street in downtown Nashville, Tennessee epitomizes the prohibition era in America. It became a nightlife destination in the 1930’s just as the sale of liquor was outlawed. The concept for the lobby and corridors intends to transport guests back to this era taking inspiration from its cultural icons, fashion, and art deco design influences.

The Address Hotel Downtown Dubai East and West Side Academy | Meyer Davis | Completed 2018
Background A high-end hospitality brand, The Address, was building a collection of hotel suites and residences in a prestigious area of downtown Dubai. The brand wanted a unique concept that would attract full-time residents alongside normal hotel guests. In collaboration with Meyer Davis, the concept for an “Academy” was born. Inspired by a college campus but with a sophisticated attitude, the Academy contains shared spaces for cooking, dining, reading, and gaming. The layout of the space allowed for two different “Academy” concepts - an East and West side - that would be shared by residents and guests. The challenge was to create two distinct concepts for the East and West areas while maintaining a cohesive look and feel.
