Junior Architect

Location : Porvorim, Goa

With nearly 30 years of experience, the firm specializes in sustainable architecture and green technologies. They’ve designed countless residences, multi-dwelling units, commercial spaces, hospitality venues, public institutions, and urban infrastructure projects.

During my tenure with this firm, I actively participated in nearly three projects, each involving diverse tasks such as creating working and submission drawings. This encompassed refining plans, sections, area diagrams, and statements.

In addition to architectural responsibilities, I assumed a leadership role in assigning tasks to interns, assessing their progress, and aiding in their skill development.

In this specific project, due to the site’s contours, we addressed them by incorporating level differences on all floors. This ensured seamless integration with the site without compromising the planning or elevation of the building.

DESIGNENCLAVE

In this project, as drawings were being prepared for submission, local building codes were referenced to ensure compliance. Any necessary alterations were made accordingly. The Area Statement was formulated with guidance from the building code. Given that the site encompassed an existing building and areas undergoing road widening, calculations were adjusted accordingly.

| Chembur - 089 | Freelance

Site: Tilak Nagar, Mumbai

In my first interior project, I designed a TV unit, a dressing table, a dining table, a shoe rack, and a bookshelf. The client had various design changes and suggestions, especially for the TV unit, which originally included a separate temple but was later merged with the TV unit. The client also provided input on the sofa design.

One of the major tasks was selecting the laminates, which resulted in clashes with the carpenter. However, I managed to resolve these conflicts through communication. As a site coordinator, I ensured smooth execution of the project. This project served as a valuable learning experience for me as an architect venturing into interior design.

About the Project:

This freelance interior design project, undertaken is centered around a carpet area of 635 square feet. The project tenure is set at two months, allowing ample time for a comprehensive transformation of the space.

The client, had entrusted with the task of creating a remarkable interior experience. From conceptualization to execution, every aspect will be carefully planned and implemented to achieve the desired outcome.

Thesis Project

Site: Hampankatta, Mangalore

This is a healthcare building that provides a positive environment with natural light and open spaces for the staff, patients, and visitors. After studying many types of hospitals with an evidence base, the hospital design has all the considerations and demands that fulfil the project. A district hospital is majorly a health care facility in its region, with a large number of beds for intensive care, critical care, and long-term care.

District hospitals are mainly managed and formed by local municipalities of the specific region. District hospitals have a health management team that includes staff from training, administred in a district-level hospital. Its objective is to provide comprehensive secondary health care services to the people in the district at an acceptable level of quality and to be responsive and sensitive to the needs of people and referring centers.
