MARCH
The content of this magazine started off as a discussion among a group of fashion and art enthusiasts. A vision – to create the most innovative, authentic, conscious, inspiring entrepreneurial magazine and media movement of the generation. With the help of an extraordinary team, that brought together a collective of like-minded game changers and style makers, we welcome you to the very first edition of Nouveau. In a world full of imitation, we wanted to bring out to the audience, a piece that would stand out. We seek to break the stereotypes related to fashion and create a magazine inclusive of all the aspects of fashion. In the age of technology nothing can exist in isolation, and so is fashion. Nouveau is a magazine that aims to blend the poise of fashion with the aesthetics of art. Not only is it inclusive of the all-round aspects of fashion, but makes sure to create a canopy under which this inclusive section of the society can flourish. This magazine is made for the young minds who seek to use their skill and talent to harness and bring about a positive change in fashion through their art. Through the sections you will find listicles after listicles of creative, contemporary art pieces, displayed in their extravagant forms. On behalf of the team of Nouveau, I would open up a gateway and carve out a space for like minded people to grow and flourish.

EDITOR’S
note
I have perceived that majorly two things happen when you live through the epoch of rapid transform, as we are now. The inevitable seethe of artistic creativity and the urge of the scapegoats and the contrarians to express themselves in their own are the two underscores. A mix of the style of the fashion enthusiasts, the trendsetters, and the chaotic, unpredictable welcome of uncertainty by the misfits without fear is what the young generation is thirsty for. Fashion and art go side by side. This symphony of fashion and art March issue of NOUVEAU is dedicated to those people who are the curious fashion culturists spreading the zing of fashion through art and cross-cultures. We have made an audacious braver move to celebrate the varied new voices fabricated with artistry, awareness, intense felicity through the art of expression drenched with inspiration, idea generation, fashion and fusion. The contrivance we ad-lib, dabbed in mechanism and bounced with technicality is all the way an innovation. I am incredibly proud of what the NOUVEAU team has created and curated on the pages that reflect the new-fangled rostrum contributing art to the era of pensive connoisseurs. This issue is definitely one of the highlights of my career as the Editor-in-chief. Our journey also envelopes the gala of maker-culture, androgynal unconformity, power-dressing and street style forge.
It’s been an unstoppable tornado for us as we reimagined every single page and shoot amalgamating fresh thinking, reverse thinking, big bold ideas and newer, diverse inclusive approach. This issue also reintroduces the magnificence of illustrations in the world of creative encroachment. The central trope revolves around ‘ULTRAVIOLET’, the pantone colour of the year 2018. An anthemic provocative and musing purple shade which communicates authenticity, inventiveness and visionary thinking that directs towards the future. As I write, my inbox is brimming with everyone’s memories of making the March NOUVEAU 2016; the relentless hours spent perfecting layouts, making of the hundreds of mood boards, thousands of new-season pieces streaming in and out in our office space, preparing the setups for the photoshoots, sourcing materials from the best of the resources and commemorating the strength of our uniqueness and unity with zeal and zest every single moment. I watched the momentum escalate while we compiled the pages together for the opulence of the vision of fashionistas in between the blue-moon of 20-25 years of age. It was special to give every page such lengthy care and attention which is a juxtaposition of beautiful notions yodelling the role of fashion and art in changeability and utility.

Clutch bags woven with macrame chords
Maker Culture
This section highlights few handwoven and hand-made stuffs with use of old fabric, rugged wool and some colourful macramé chords. Simple, eye-catching, user-friendly items conclude one product from home décor and the other one from the accessory range. Decorate your old tattered cushion fabrics with some lightly shimmered raw woollen yarns by the cutting and pasting method. Get the strand of the woollen yarns on your ngertips and make repeats of it for around 30-35 times to make a mini bundle. Then, cut a very small piece of strand from the yarn-ball and with the help of it, tie the bundle together with all the strands at a tip. Cut the strands from the
opposite tip to get the ultimate uneven woollen piece for decorating the cushion covers. Make such several pieces and then stick them on the cushion fabric one after the other creating fascinating patterns. Decorate your working space or living area with all the different geometrical shapes from triangle to circle and square and rectangle trended this season with the preppy colours of your choice. Another one from our basket is the charm derived from weaving. This macramé woven mini handbag and clutch is one of its kind. Take two different coloured macramé chords and braid them together in length.
Then, sew the braided strand of macramé by placing it in a loop of any creative pattern. Make the patterns for each handbag in separation so, that they can be joined again for the complete look of a handbag. After making the patterned pieces, again, join them from the outer edge by sewing them together and leaving space for the handbag to open. Lastly, put a tip-tap button or chain of same colour in the left-open part for proper utility of the product. Be on cloud nine to grab all the attention at your get-togethers with these little masterpieces of your own origination!

hen it comes to creating an effortless wardrobe, sometimes it’s the simplest ideas that are the best. The rst step to dressing sharp is to choose the right shade and stay up to date with the colours that are trending. Gone are the days where basics like black, grey, and white used to be a thing. Power dressing could be made more interesting with a very different approach by playing with primary colors. By keeping a monochrome shade in the looks, it becomes more classy and artsy, consisting of shoulder padded trench coats with wide legged pants paired with combat boots. The laptop bag and bold sunglasses add weight to the whole look. To soften the typically masculine look with a pop of femininity, the earrings can been used. .

xperience grandeur and utmost elegance when you visit The Cafe Green Eye, a 24 hours coffee shop located on the ground oor serves delicious Indian, Continental and Asian cuisine. It is a fusion of Global & Indian menu and ambiance, yet making it a very chic and modern style cafe. The décor at Café Green Eye is gorgeous and creates an atmosphere that is casual and cool. Particular impressive was the lobby with its high ceilings. It is wonderfully comfortably and spacious. It has high ceilings and open doorways that give it an airy feel. Decorated in a Polynesian tropical theme it has lush vertical green walls, and its low-rise perspective creates an oasis of calm and tranquility. There is both indoor and outdoor seating at the café. Consequently, the café is a blend of east meets west, with both an Asian and a more classical French menu.
