PROJECT BRIEF Design a mixed use building on the corner of Gordon Street and Hampden Road in Nedlands. The building is to contain a variety of uses to capitalise on the growing demand in the inner Perth city centres for urban mixed land use. Focussing on the issues of community, sustainability, affordibility and amenity with also being a response to the context of the site and the surrownding culture.

The proposed outcome features a triple volume mixed use building including four diverse two-storey high-end apartments to cater for the growing worker population in the area. With the ground level featuring a University book and supplies store and cafe/restaurant accomodating for the Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts university students on the adjacent property. This corner complex encourages interaction between students and inner city workers, also playing as a vibrant new landmark in Nedlands.
