madison plus Madison Plus was created by Aimee Cheshire and Erica Young. Aimee was a plus model while attending LIM College where she met Erica. Upon graduation, Aimee and Erica both started working for a large conglomerate where they did product development and buying specifically for the plus market. Seeing a huge void in this market, they created Madison Plus. Kari Hansbarger has joined Madison Plus as the Creative Director. Kari brings over 10 years of experience in graphic design and brand development specifically in the beauty and fashion industries. Together, we are starting a revolution in the plus size fashion industry. www.madisonplus.com.
carmakoma carmakoma is made up by the young, Danish design duo Weiss&Lykke. The two formed a close friendship starting back in 1997 at the esteemed Danish design school Teko in Herning, where early thoughts of revolutionizing the Danish fashion industry sprouted. Incited by each others ideas the thoughts soon became dreams of fulfilling the wishes of fashion loving, curvy women by creating trendy designer wear in plus sizes. Finally in summer 2008, backed with years of experience from successful, Danish fashion companies like Designers Remix, O by Isabell Kristensen, Junk de Luxe and mbyM the dreams were realized when Weiss&Lykke were able to launch carmakoma as their heart child. Since then, curvy women from the whole world have shown their gratitude by flocking to the webshop to get hands on the fashionable quality brand.
