Two models with one unifying American dream of coming to New York to make it in the big city. As the sun rises on the city they feel a longing to explore the streets and see what makes this city never sleep. They take to the streets of the lower east side, seeing the gritty, yet glamour in it all. This creates a desire, a hunger, to make it as models in the world’s toughest of cities. This is City Street Blues.

Model on Model. Sounds odd, but it is true. When Jenny and Erika called us from Germany about doing a shoot, we thought it was a fantastic idea. We would have never guessed the stars would align so perfectly when Wilhemina W Curve models, Philippa and Becca, also approached us about expanding their styling and photography talents with us. That is when the idea was born to do a shoot that placed the pro models behind the camera and the fresh faces in the spotlight. With the streets of NYC as our playground, and Erika and Jenny’s American dream of landing a modeling contract with W Curve, we embarked on the City Street Blues shoot. The shoot was done solely by women with the majority being plus size. To go in tandem with the American dream before us, we choose denim for the styling theme as what is more iconic with American fashion then a pair of jeans? Philippa styled the shoot to perfection and Becca took shot after edgy shot of the models breathtaking poses. In the end, Erika and Jenny’s American dream was realized. Both models landed contracts with W Curve. Now that is an MP, and American dream realized, model on model style.
