How to Sell Things Online the Smart Way; I Shouldn’t Have Used the Stepladder… When I regained consciousness… …paramedics were cutting my good work-coat off of my body. On that clear, sunny but cold day in March, 2006, I hadn’t done the smart thing when I was working up on the roof of my parents’ ranch house. It was only about eight feet up from the concrete patio to the roof, so I used a folding stepladder. That was just plain STUPID! When stepping down onto the ladder… …my foot must have slipped, and I fell to the hard, gray concrete patio—breaking my right collarbone. I learned my lesson, though; anytime I need to get up that high, I work smart and easy—rather than stupid and hard—to get the job done. I approach selling things online the same way. Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the smart way instead? You’re probably familiar with the hard way of selling online:
If you’re starting with little or no money, you start writing articles on sites like Hubpages.com and eventually get paid for the traffic you generate from your content. Then you can buy your own domain name and hosting, and build yourself a website or blog. Then, you have to promote it: either for free, by getting into social media and telling your story, engaging with as many like-minded people as possible… …or else doing paid marketing with services like Google AdSense, Adbrite, Chitika, CPA Offers, Bidvertiser, or Facebook PPC. Then, you have to find products that your readers/viewers are likely to buy, set up accounts with places like Clickbank or Commission Junction, or else develop your own products and set up a payment gateway/processor, shopping cart, inventory & shipping system, and on, and on, and on. OR… You can work smart, and sell things online the easy way—like I do.
Blogging is the best activity for selling online. Because, you can easily create fresh, unique and compelling content every day. But, rather than going through the hassle of setting up a blog from scratch, you can rent a blog that’s already set up for you—complete with banners, sales funnels and is your own unique branch of a website that is in the top 200 most-visited websites in the U.S. You can blog about whatever you want, attract like-minded readers, and offer them whatever products you want. On top of that, you’ll have access to cutting-edge marketing training products that you can turn around and sell to interested readers—earning 100% commissions while you do it! Wild horses could never drag me away from my blogging business! --Josh “Mad Thrad” Campbell P.S. Why not get started today? Unless you want to struggle, grit your teeth and grind out a living online. In that case, do not click here, don’t visit my colorful blog with the delicious profit-pulling graphics, and don’t click on a banner to learn how you can start blogging.
