Parasailing

Parasailing is an activity where you are towed behind a boat, being attached to a specially designed piece of material resembling a parachute by means of the harness that allows you to sit comfortably and freely admire the coastal scenery. The activity is thought to be safe, the more so that it is performed in life jackets. You may parasail alone or with a group. In an emergency, the harness can be quickly unhooked and you will land safely in water or on land. Each parasail ride lasts about 10 minutes and you will soar up to 40-100 meters above the water.

Flyboarding

It is the most popular hydroflight sport performed on the Flyboard. The device is propelled by a personal watercraft with a 100-150 horsepower engine allowing the rider to perform various extreme manoeuvres both in water and up to 20 meters above the water surface. It features an 18-23 meters’ hose attached to the personal watercraft turbine generating two water jets forced under pressure to propel the device. The Flyboard was invented in 2012 by Franky Zapata, a former jet ski racing champion and founder of Zapata Racing. His latest invention is the Flyboard Air which, with the fuel tank being filled to full, allows a person weighing 100 kg to fly for 10 minutes at 150 km/h.

Cliff Diving

Cliff jumping, also known as cliff diving, is an extreme sport for the brave. When jumping from the height of 6 meters, the diver falls at a speed of up to 40 km/h, which affects the water surface tension; it becomes as hard as concrete. Only a proper jumping technique may reduce the water tension. This has been proved by jumps from the heights exceeding 20 meters performed by leading cliff divers. The main rule of cliff diving is to check the water depth and the safety of coastal seabed before the first jump. Water must be free of any rocks or stones that could be threatening to the diver’s life.

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga (SUP Yoga) combines surfing with yoga practised on a paddleboard. It is an excellent summer alternative to land yoga, stimulating your senses and making you redefine thoroughly the most basic asanas. Everything that seemed obvious while practising land yoga becomes a significant challenge right from the beginning now: standing, sitting, the simplest asanas performed on a paddleboard. At first, it looks like starting to practise yoga from scratch. Yet, with time, it changes into a very pleasant physical activity. Each session of yoga practised on water is a unique, one-of-a-kind experience, not only because of different asana sequences but also thanks to being so close to nature.
