SHOE STORAGE BENCH MATERIALS & FINISH Selection Plywood is another manufactured board that it is made from layers of solid timber veneer that are usually about 3 millimetres thick. Because it is made in layers it is incredibly strong but also light in weight. The interior layers of these boards are usually made from an inexpensive wood while the outer veneer layers are made from more expensive timber to give the board a nice wood grain appearance.
Melamine is a thin, single mealmine paper bonded directly to a substrate. It provides crack resistant, scratch resistant and available in many colours and by occasionally wiping over with a dry or damp clean cloth.
AESTHETIC CONSIDERATION
The chest drawer is made up of plywood board with melamine covered. This melamine laminate provide a sub-glossy surface. However, this clean white colour provide a contrast to the surrounding dim envinroment, causing it noticeable by people. This product is a minimalism due to the simple design and no other ornament is added.
SAFETY CONSIDERATION
This product will not harm human’s health when use as a shoe storage.
