Time had come for a new logo. Like the world we live in, Ib Laursen ApS is also in constant change. This development is seen from year to year, and from collection to collection. This year, however, we decided to visualize even more that we are a contemporary company in a never-ending progress, just as our assortment. Therefor we proudly present our new logo to you. The elements in the new logo all reflect our proud heritage along the stormy West Coast of Denmark, in the middle of the Wadden Sea. The keen observer will therefore notice the blue wave coming in from the West, writing Laursen. To underline our proud, Danish background, we have also added a Denmark to the new logo. Throughout the years, we have become known simply as IB around the world. For this very reason, the name has been given such a prominent role and place within the logo, and thus ensuring the crucial recognition from our many international customers. The logo may be new, but apart from that, we are still the same kind p eople, the service level is as high as always, the owners are still Ib and Peter Laursen and the name is still Ib Laursen ApS. Time had simply come for a new visual identity, which we hope that you and your customers will take kind to.

NORDIC WEST The shortest day of the year will soon be behind us, a new page will be turned in the calendar and we will start looking forward to seeing the summer sun once more. As always, the spring time will bring lots of new, stunning colors and intriguing trends with it, which we have been excited about presenting to you in this new Spring/Summer 2018 catalogue. The main theme for the Spring/Summer 2018 catalogue is Nordic West. Thus, the setting has been along the Danish West Coast, where we created the perfect atmosphere full of the breathtaking Danish nature and alive with wonderful summer impressions. The calm and cosy Spring/ Summer 2018 universe encourages you to embrace the many summer evenings at the terrace and peaceful and meditating hours in your garden, where you can relax and unwind in the company of family and good friends. In 2018, home decor will be brought back to nature with a strong sense of originality and an evident twist on the recycling trend, which will be very present. This will shine through in materials such as jute, linen, wood, rattan and bamboo, just as our popular Unique series will continue growing. Some of the trending colors will be blue, green, yellow and the new, fresh berry-addition, which you will see in our glazed vases, throws, quilts and cushions among others. To add some calm and depth to the color scheme, we will continue relying on the grey, black, white and natural colors you already know. Another characteristic Spring/Summer trend will be transparency, which you have been introduced to previously and will continue to set its mark on home décor and interior throughout 2018. This trendy transparency will be seen in the many new glass items, see-through baskets and wicker products you will find in the new collection. With this catalogue, you have a preview into the Spring/Summer 2018 collection. As always, we hope that you will come and see the entire collection and the many other new items at one of the eight fairs we expose at, or by visiting our showroom in Denmark. The products vary in material, size, shape and appearance, and may have natural cracks and marks, all bearing witness to the history of the recycled material.
