Please continue to pray for Ryan and Annabel Koher, as well as Willem and Eric, the orphanage volunteers who were detained with Ryan, as they wait for the legal proceedings to conclude in Mozambique.

Pray for us as a resourcing group as we seek to spread awareness of MAF around New Zealand. Pray that we will be able to increase our capacity and donations so that the planes can keep flying around the world.

Pray for peace in Sudan. Pray for the surrounding communities that are receiving those fleeing the conflict. Pray also for the continued safety for our MAF staff members in South Sudan.

Pray for peace and security in Myanmar in the aftermath of Cyclone Mocha that hit the coast and swept inland recently.

Please pray that I would pick up the language easily and that there would be plenty of opportunities for me to practise my Tok Pisin with locals! Please also pray for good health as my stomach adjusts to a new diet!

Please pray for wisdom and stamina for Ruth and her colleague, Estela, and as they work with medevac patients and families in the local hospital and upon their often-premature discharge.

Give thanks that spare aircraft parts are finally on their way to Mareeba.

Pray for the villages that that we fly to in Tanzania with medical and evangelistic teams. Pray that they would be diligent in preparing and keeping the airstrips clear during operations so that help, hope, healing, and the Gospel can continue to come into their villages.
Pray for continued wisdom for the quality and safety team as we introduce the new database in the upcoming months. Pray that the meeting of the maintenance teams in the future will bring improvements in our maintenance processes.

I will be spending time with maintenance, ground operations and flight scheduling/operations to learn how each sector works. Please pray for us in the wet season as the weather is going to get challenging over the next few months, and some locations will become inaccessible. Pray for safe flight operations and that we can continue to get our partner organisations where they need to go.

Please pray for a better longer-term solution. These visas are only good for six months, and we would like at least annual visas or better still, two-yearly visas, given that we have to start the process every six months.
On July 31 we returned to PNG for two months to provide Country Director cover during Todd and Connie-Lou Aebischer’s Home Assignment in the USA. Please pray for good health and God’s enabling as we support the Team in PNG.

Praise God for a successful disaster response training conference in May. This was the first training conference for the team in four years due to covid.
