The history of Mafra is rooted in the distant midSixties. The entrepreneurial instinct of its founder, Gianfranco Mattioli, prompted him to transfer the principles of human cosmetics to a totally new field: this resulted in the famous slogan “cosmetics for your car”.

#SÈMPER is a neutral maintenance, super-concentrated shampoo with a high lubricating action. Featuring excellent cleaning properties and a pleasant scent, #SÈMPER is completely safe on previously applied nano-coatings and sealing treatments: it may be used without removing the underlying wax layers, even the most delicate, such as the carnauba-based ones and is “Easy To Rinse” with a spray nozzle. Its special features assure it may be used with excellent results, also with a foam gun. #SÈMPER, without any waxes or brightness enhancers, does not cause stripes and may be used on windows as well. #SÀTINO is an effective shampoo with excellent cleaning properties, ideal for matt or wrapped paints, which assures long-standing and effective body protection against UV rays for at least 2 weeks. Matt surfaces require, in fact, specific formulations that significantly protect and clean the body without altering the satin finish. A self-drying product, #SÀTINO makes the subsequent drying phase much easier and is totally safe on the waxes applied. With a highly lubricating action, #SÀTINO does not affect body silkiness wholly respecting the matt finish. Thanks to easy rinse-ability, it prevents the formation of stripes and halos in the drying stage. REVÌTA is the next generation of neutral “Wash&Coat” shampoo, to wash, seal, protect and extend the life of the previously applied coating. On untreated cars, it is able to assure gloss and protection, equal to nano-sealants, for at least 4 months. With excellent cleaning properties and good lubrication, REVÌTA adheres and protects in a truly wonderful manner, assuring extremely high beading and sheeting levels. The product is extremely cost-effective thanks to the extremely high dilution 1:100 (30 mg is enough to wash and protect a largesized car). REVÌTA is different from other products on the market because it consists of a mixture of solubilised siloxanes that firmly adhere to the body assuring a remarkable protective effect (against weathering, chemical aggression and even bird droppings), silk effect and resistance, with excellent foaming and lubrication during washing. Although it is a neutral product, it has excellent cleaning properties and is able to dissolve and soften dirt. #REFLÈCTO is used during the last car preparation stage, after applying the coating and right before delivering the car to the customer. It assures an extremely high glossbooster and unrivalled silkiness, but its distinctive feature is its innovative chemical architecture, a mix of siloxaneswithoutany solar filters: in fact Mafra firmly believes, based on a number of internal and external tests, that in the polymerisation and catalysing stage of all nano-coatings, these must not be stratified with spray nano-sealants, because by reflecting UV rays this would slow polymerisation. This operation should be carried out at the first wash or first car check after applying the nano. #REFLÈCTO is an innovativeprotective that amplifies UV while maintaining the limescale from water or snow in suspension. It lasts 15 days, maximum catalysing time of the slowest coatings, and self-decays at the end of the activity time, thus leaving the original coating beading and sheeting unchanged. #BENEFÌCIA is a self-activating coating enhancer, based on fluoropolymer technology, which kicks in upon spraying with water, thus completing the Mafra “no touch” cycle begun with #PRIMUS. #BENEFÌCIA adheres to the surface for a long time, is resistant to acids, to bird droppings, to alkali, even the strongest ones found in car washes, and to solvents. It reduces drying times, removing the root cause of swirl formation and seals without using cloths or applicators, drastically reducing the risk of causing scratches. #VÈRITAS is a swirls highlighter, indispensable before application of the coating or the sealant, which cleans and degreases the surface before any nano treatment, removing any type of lubricating oil (either paraffin or new generation synthetic oils) and polish, highlighting the underlying imperfections without whitening the paint. All products on the market have strong volatility, which does not allow the product to completely remove working oils. #VÈRITAS, unlike IPAs which evaporate very quickly and are unable to clean deeply, has been specifically developed to achieve the best results even in the summer months. IPA solutions are normally used for checking after polishing, to clean a surface before the final protection pass, being helpless against the dust which tends to deposit immediately afterwards. However, #VÈRITAS is able to completely remove polishing oils and also, thanks to its high antistatic effect, to repel dust, which allows one to work with ease during application of the coating. Cleaning with this product assures a better final result and the coating molecules will be able to best adhere to the surface, assuring longer lasting protection. But #VÈRITAS is much more: it provides help to detailers during application of the coating: if any halos have been created in the first hour after application of the coating, it can be reworked without removing it, using a microsuede cloth soaked with the product to smooth out the error. Thanks to its specific formula, it may also be used in an innovative way,as check control of the coating life during the washing stage: many shampoos, in fact, leave micro residues of surfactants that do not allow the coating to manifest itself and might cause the detailer to err, as it might wrongfully think that the coating has disappeared.
