Today, Seac is certainly a company that sets benchmarks in the diving industry. Founded in 1971 as the brainchild of Marco Arata, more recently - thanks to the support of his son Daniele - the company is embarking on an important strategic renewal on several fronts: from the enrichment of the product lines to the expansion of the corporate organisation, from the repositioning of its image to the technological evolution in production.

This impressive change has, however, left the true points of excellence that this company is known for unchanged; first of all, the inspection of each and every product, all verified and tested individually, a process that has always represented the crowning jewel of Seac.

Aujourd’hui, Seac est certainement une entreprise de référence dans le secteur de la plongée. Fondée en 1971 sur une idée de Marco Arata, la société a récemment entrepris, grâce aussi à l’aide de son fils Daniele, un renouvellement stratégique sur plusieurs fronts: de l’enrichissement des gammes de production à l’élargissement de l’organigramme de l’entreprise et du repositionnement de son image à l’évolution technologique dans la production.

Internationalization of R&D department The essence of SEAC lies in its R&D department, which is located in Italy at the main office. A team of engineers and designers work in collaboration for the conception and realization of each final product with a strong Italian identity. Today SEAC is considered one of the best R&D operations in the sector - in facet, in recent years SEAC has brought it’s experience and expertise to other companies such as Arena.

Production department Starting in 2014, the company has revamped itself with a more modern and extensive production department, which has become a real highlight for equipment, dimensions and organization.

Moreover, SEAC continues to ensure superior product quality.

Storage capacity Today the warehouse company, in light of new investments, covers an area of ​​about 110,000 sqf and can reach a value of stock at purchase price of around 15 ML. Currently, this is the biggest diving warehouse in Europe.

L’internationalisation de la R & D Cœur de l’entreprise est le département de recherche et développement, qui se trouve en Italie,dans le bureau principal.

The new Pro 2000, the iconic model responsible for Seac’s success, is enhanced with renewed details and functions staring right from the bladder inflation system, which remains one of its main and most distinctive. This model is equipped with a 3D wedge positioned differently than the previous one to provide thrust from below to optimise trim and buoyancy during the dive and better support the weight of the cylinder with less fatigue for your back. In addition to this, we have revisited the classic Frame to Back, the system of anchoring the shoulder straps to the back that make the behaviour of the bladder completely independent. The new AHS, Adjustment Harness System, emphasises this characteristic even more and improves it, especially in terms of convenience and functionality. The same objective was achieved by making a change to the seat of the weight pockets with the Q&S system, which was pre-inclined and oriented in order to facilitate extraction and insertion of the weight that, starting from size L, can be up to 6 kg per pocket. Much attention was also paid to the choice of materials and the design of the details: pockets and shoulder straps made of Cordura 1000 for maximum strength, eyelets for inserting the knife, hidden backup pocket, Trim Weight Pocket positioned on the cylinder retaining strap, pre-shaped back cover with protective appendix for the back Tank Protection Pad. Le nouveau Pro 2000, désormais véritable icône indissociable de l’histoire de l’entreprise Seac, s’enrichit de détails et renouvelle ses fonctionnalités, à commencer précisément par le système de gonflage du sac qui reste parmi ses caractéristiques principales et distinctives. Le nouvel AHS, Adjustment Harness System, amplifie encore plus cette caractéristique et l’améliore surtout en termes de praticité et de fonctionnalité. Le même objectif a été atteint en apportant une modification à l’emplacement des poches à lest avec le système Q&S, qui a été préincliné et orienté afin de faciliter l’extraction et l’insertion du poids qui, à partir de la taille L, peut atteindre 6 kg par poche.

Une grande attention a également été portée sur le choix des matériaux et sur l’étude des détails : des poches et des sangles d’épaules fabriquées en Cordura 1000 pour assurer une résistance maximale, des boutonnières pour l’insertion du couteau, une poche de réserve cachée, des poches Trim Weight Pocket positionnées sur la sangle de fixation de la bouteille, ainsi qu’une protection préformée avec un appendice de protection pour le dos Tank Pad Protection.
