Taking care and responding to the needs of every patient on an individual basis are especially important when dealing with the patients; discretion is, of course, exercised at all times. The main elements that go towards making up the Schwarzl Klinik philosophy are firm trust in the patient-doctor relationship as well as a competent and comprehensive treatment plan. 1. Consultation It is especially important to be fully informed as to the procedure that will be carried out and to receive clear and honest answers to all your questions. We take time to talk to you. 2. Computer Simulation The mirror-imaging system is a computerised photo simulation system, which can simulate various operations and then generate an image of how you could look after a specific operation. 3. Decision Phase Make your decision quietly after you have had your consultation. 4. Pre-operational Phase In order to physically prepare for an operation, you basically need a medical exam that you are physically fit and able to be operated on. This gives you a feeling of security. 5. Operation Trust in the experienced and adept hands of your plastic surgeon and the many highly-qualified employees at the Schwarzl Klinik. You receive individual treatment and are able to count on the complete professionalism and experience of a team that has been working together for many years. 6. Post-Operat ional Phase Nothing is left to chance: Our doctors and 30 excellent employees work together around the clock to look after you and are only concerned with your well-being and recovery.

PA153 OCEANCO 92M DESIGN BY TONY CASTRO The UK based design company Tony Castro Yacht Design unveil their impressive 92M TONY CASTRO superyacht concept PA153 for OCEANCO. Tony Castro PA153 yacht for Oceanco is compliant with the new PYC regulations. Her preliminary interior layout allows accommodation of a total number of 22 guests in 4 cabins, 4 VIP cabins, 2 VVIP cabins and one Master Suite. She will also be able to provide accommodation to a crew of 25. Her particularities include a vast aft deck with an innovative pool and combined Jacuzzi.
12 MONDO45 EXPLORER YACHT Italian shipyard Mondo Marine has unveiled an exciting new explorer vessel named Mondo45. This facinating project is at an advanced stage and it's a mix between a working hull, an ocean research vessel, a cruising ship and a superyacht. The naval architecture and exterior design is by the yard in collaboration with engineer Sergio Cutolo. The MONDO45 superyacht will measure 45.05 metres in length and 8.80 metres abeam, stretching over four decks. The four-deck concept is centered on owner comfort regardless of weather condition or location.
AUTUMN 2011
CRN 52-METER CLASSIC SUPERYACHT The 52-meter mega yacht was developed from the CRN naval architectural solutions, in collaboration with Studio Zuccon International Project and meets the ship owners’ greater need to be flexible. This new layout allows one to have closer contact with the sea, thanks to the outdoor “beach club” at the stern and on the terrace of the owner’s suite. The boat easily accommodates up to 12 passengers in five guest cabins (a master cabin and four guest cabins) and 12 crew members. It has a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots, thanks to twin CAT C32-C engines. CRN 62-METER SPORT This original concept developed from a combination of ideas garnered from CRN’s many years of experience in bespoke Megayachts, as well as the architects Gianni and Paola Zuccon of Studio Zuccon International Project, long-standing partners of the brand and the Ferretti Group. The Dislopen line is born from a combination lines and looks with the 62 Sport project being the first of the models to be shown in rendering. A further two models of 46 and 52 meters will follow. The Dislopen range has a sporty look, similar to that of small and medium yachts, but is also able to make longer trips, even across the ocean, and still have the typical comfort of a displacement mega yacht. The Dislopen CRN 62m Sport will have five decks, owner’s, main deck, lower deck, sub deck, the latter is reserved for technical spaces and the galley), on which open areas prevail.

swimming pool “FREE
SPACE”
Specialized in bathing sites protection, against the intrusion of jellyfishes and surface litter, Medusa Protect puts all his experience to the benefit of the swimmers’ comfort and safety in their relaxation area. True to its innovation policy, Medusa Protect has developed a new protection system specially dedicated to the yachting world and the pleasures of swimming in open sea. Designed for this specific use, the pool is composed entirely of micro-mesh nets kept at the surface by an inflatable structure demarcating the swimming area. It is a unique and innovative way to have a real open sea pool to enjoy peacefully the pleasures of swimming. The complementarity of the floating part and the micro-mesh net ensures a safe swim in the water, completely blocking the arrival of jellyfishes and marine macropollutions. The quality of bathing and the users comfort are thus optimal. Its structure is specially designed to provide maximum stability and security in case of swell. Easy to use, just put it in water and inflate it with a compressor. This operation automatically pushes the jellyfishes and waste, providing thus a completely clean and safe water. The installation, disassembly and maintenance are very simple and can be made by a single person. Once removed, the pool takes up very little space and can be easily stored. In open sea or near a beach, for yourself or your children, day and night, you can use the pool as you like and still have your own swimming area.

ULTRALUXUM CXL
ULTRALUXUM
INTRODUCTION
Imagined by JF Ruchonnet of Monaco based company Ultra Luxum, the luxury sailing trimaran CXL collects superlatives: she is the world biggest sailing multihull, trimaran and catamarans included, she is one of the most innovative projects of the industry and her eye catching styling and conception are unique. The yacht demonstrates exceptional styling created by leading multihull designer JJ Coste of Coste Design & Partners, with modern and elegant lines, which are seamlessly integrated into the vessel’s voluminous interior. This is a yacht built for fast cruising. Her sporty appeal and ease of sailing offer an Idyllic means of living in communion with the sea while enjoying the luxury and comfort of an exceptional vessel. The Design Team is the leader in mega yacht multihull designs and continuously sets new standards in
22
sailing performances. The project is done under the management of top end yachts specialist Eric Althaus of Althaus Yachting. Famous brokerage company of Monaco has been appointed as worldwide agent and will present the yacht during the coming international events. CONCEPT
The CXL is the first sailing trimaran of this size to be equipped with folding hull beams. The overall width is going from 25m in sailing confi guration to 11m in harbour confi guration. No anymore problems of room in harbour and still the pleasure of no heeling sailing. The CXL is a three decks sloop rigged trimaran whose design exceeds present super yacht standards. Equipped with all the amenities of a motor yacht with the performance and sensations of a fast sailing yacht, she is capable of exceptional speeds Under power as well as high speed long range cruising. Her stability is such that at anchor there is little rolling and underway heeling has been kept to a minimum even in rough conditions, due to the designs of the trimaran’s long narrow hulls. Their shallow draft enables anchoring and accessible cruising close to shore and in shallow waters. Likewise, the CXL offers a unique system to reduce her beam in order to enable docking in most marinas. The CXL, with a length of 48m, a deployed beam of 25m, a mast measuring 55m in height and an overall weight of 110 tons, is an outstanding yacht in every respect and one of the most refined and beautifully appointed sailing vessels. The yacht is ecofriendly studied with the use of last technology solar panels in conjunction with the last generation of batteries. In addition, optional Hybrid propulsion system makes this yacht with some of the lowest emission in the industry. In addition the yacht will be built following the requirements of “Wood for Ever” foundation under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.

ULTRALUXUM DESIGN
The concept of the CXL is the result of highly advanced naval architectural studies that include tank testing and computer simulations. Extensive research has yielded the development of hull lines with remarkable results in terms of performance and sea worthiness. The yacht’s structural calculations are executed by finite element analysis to optimise weight/resistance while maintaining the highest level of integral and at-sea safety. The following powerful design and testing tools enabled to conceive of the vessel’s foundations while taking into account the owner’s wishes as to the yacht’s layout: • 3D modelling • Naval architecture • Structural calculation • Interior design • Exterior styling • System engineering • Deck and sail plans BUILDING
The CXL is constructed with high tech composite materials for their light weight and strength. The construction process combines the infusion of epoxy resin/ Carbon fibre and PU foam core. The project is then subdivided into smaller individual modules while the folding carbon fibre beams bond the main hull with the two symmetrical external hulls into a single piece arrangement. All structural elements (bulkheads, frames, roof and floors) are carefully integrated with the interior. During construction, the vessel’s weight is continuously monitored and compared with studied estimates. Each separate structural component must be approved by laboratory testing. The yacht is built in weather protected and temperature controlled construction hall, in accordance with the rules of Bureau Veritas (BV). Weight,
24
quality of finish, solidity, resistance to ageing and simplicity of maintenance are all determining factors in the choice of materials and construction methods. EXTERIOR
The outstanding CXL exterior lines are the result of hydro & aerodynamic research, speed performance, comfort, ergonomics, interior layout, safety. The exterior aft salon provides shaded lounging with unobstructed panoramic views and is separated from the large interior salon by a sliding door. The aft stairs pertaining the hull lead to Lazarette compartments and down to the transom where is stored the scuba diving equipment and other water toys. Direct access to the water is done via a swim ladder. From the aft deck one accesses the fl y bridge via a comfortable stairway. The two helm stations and rigging equipment are located to port and starboard for ultimate control and ease of handling. The vast sunbathing area is located on each side of the Jacuzzi and amidships, there is a dining area with sofa where guests can enjoy remarkable dinning with a view. All anchoring and running rigging have been incorporated seamlessly into the deck’s layout. INTERIOR
The luminous interior design created by Coste Design & Partners and Ultra Luxum’s owner Jessica Sbaraglia is adapted to the modernity of the yacht. The CXL interior accommodations and décor are designed and built to the highest standards in comfort and luxury using lightweight materials and state of the art craftsmanship. The yacht is equipped with state of the art domotic control and high-end entertainment system including fl at screen TV, audio and video on demand, high speed internet access, and the like. Interior accommodation includes: 1 owner cabin + suite bathroom 3 guest cabins + bathroom 3 crew cabin + bathroom 1 lounge area 1 dining area 1 galley 1 Navigation station The entire layout is conceived to make the boat usable for either commercial or private yacht use.

LĂœRSSEN
Northern Star is designed for extensive and extended cruising in Arctic or tropical waters and allows for a wide range requiring only few stops in ports. The very experienced owner, who has many years behind him as an ocean racing and cruising sailor, required top notch design and engineering as well as seagoing comfort for his guests and crew. The owner’s captain, Craig Franks and the team around yacht broker Robert Moran of Moran Yacht and Ship supervised the project and brought in their huge spectrum of experience and consolidated knowledge. Espen Oeino gave Northern Star a very traditional appearance, reflecting the owner's ideas and she is built to the highest technical standards combined with an abundance of practical and useful features.

LĂœRSSEN The interior, designed by Pauline Nunns, can best be described as a grand country home, which is executed in every single detail. The owner's brief called for light airy and comfortable traditional interiors with lots of wall space and good lighting to hang the owner's large art collection and enough of shelf space for books. Nearly the whole of the interior is panelled with raised- and fielded limed oak, either painted in pastel shades to blend with the fabrics or just with a natural finish. When entering Northern Star through the main entrance into the marble floored hallway you instantly get the feeling of a classic rather than a flashy yacht. The hallway provides a very impressive cylindrical glass elevator which accesses all decks and is encircled by the main staircase. Parts of the ceiling are recessed where trompe-l'oeil depicting a sky with cherubic characters have been applied in situ by a British artist. The overall feeling in the main salon is a very warm and comfortable one as you really feel at home. This feeling is even more underlined by the two ship models in glass cases - one of the Huisman schooner "Meteor" and another of the 1875 steam yacht "Aries".
46
Northern Star is classed for light ice which called for more framing and thicker hull plating in the forward areas and also stronger shafts and mountings for the propeller, rudders and stabilizers. The owner wanted a sturdy seagoing ship and the appearance reflects this especially through her exterior styling with the forward-sloping "trawler" windows. The engine room is the heart of the yacht and a masterpiece of German engineering with polished stainless steel applications. Powered by 2 CAT engines of 2.000 kW each, she reaches a top speed of 17 knots and has a range of 7.000 nm. Advanced sound and vibration features guarantee an extremely quiet running of the yacht and zero speed fin-stabilizers are reducing wave generated motions when at anchor.

This exceptional Mondo Marine, second launch of the season, is an all-aluminium 49.15-metre semi-displacement yacht named Alexander Again. She follows the launch of the 50m aluminium hull semi-displacement motor yacht ZALIV III in March, 2011. Alexander Again is powered by twin MTU engines that allow her to reach a maximum speed of 19 knots and she will comfortably cruise at a speed of 16 knots. The external lines of the Mondo Marine yacht Alexander Again are designed by architect Giorgio Vafiadis, while the interior and exterior spaces designed a Florentine designer Luca Dini. The interiors are majestic and imposing, with a concept based on contrasting glossy black lacquer and rosewood with gold and silver leaf and the use of mirrors.

Four staterooms exist on the lower deck to welcome guests to their accommodation. There is a master stateroom for the owner or deserving guests. The rooms all have their own bathrooms negating any problems for access for guests. There are two VIPs aft and two cabins forward, only one with two beds. There is a large saloon on the main deck, along with the owner’s suite, and a second saloon and owner’s office with bathroom on the upper deck. The two daytime decks offer day toilets and pantries to provide guests with all necessary comfort and services.

PERI YACHTS
The 37 is the perfect example. It is the kind of Yacht that you want to show off even if that is not your usual style. Its cool, minimalist elegance makes a very strong statement, whether you are easing into the marina at Antibes or slicing through the roughest Mediterranean seas. The 37 is every bit as powerful a vessel as it looks. Those unmistakably strong thrusting lines reveal its true personality. The Peri 37 is a hightech Masterpiece, revelling in the advantages of its e-glass & epoxy sandwich construction.

Inside, the impression of pared-down perfection and lavish volumes continues. The dimensions of the saloon are particularly striking. A serene colour scheme of white, ecru and shades of grey, ranging from pearl to charcoal, increases the sense of space and flows throughout the yacht. The furniture represents minimalism at its best, sized to make a statement and exquisitely crafted. Textures play the starring role, with an accent on soft carpets, caressable surfaces and finest leather. The accommodation is on the same ample scale. For example, the full-beam master cabin has a large his-and-hers bathroom and its own private office. In the vip and twin cabins, the generous headroom has allowed the designers to make a feature of the ceilings.

The bow area is divided into two large areas: an immense sun-pad with ergonomic cushions accommodating 3-4 people is adjacent to a total relax area made up of a C-shaped sofa and small tables. The glass hard top above the windscreen after the curvature of the deckhouse and before the sport-fly can be opened to welcome the sun and breeze into the saloon. The captain’s external helm station is positioned centrally, in line with the yacht’s sporty character. A large relaxation area welcomes guests in the cockpit on a specially designed sofa with a central dinette portion and two trapezoidal sets of cushions on the sides that can be used as a chaise longue. Another dinette sheltered from direct sunlight by the sport-flybridge, with its table and chairs, is one of the three dining or cocktail areas on the Grande 120SL.

The saloon is sculpted in the light by the windows, the stern door and the glass hard top. Here the owner and his guests are always in touch with the sea and face to face with the sky, basking in absolute freedom. By just opening the glass foldaway door towards the stern, the cockpit and saloon become a single room about 100 square metres large. This huge area is at the disposal of the owner’s boundless creativity, to be customised drawing inspiration from the light and airiness of the room. The owner’s suite is a sheer of more than 40 square metres flat. It looks onto the sea on each side through the 6 square windows, the unmistakable mark of the S Collection. The owner can decorate the entire space harmonising it with the style of the main deck, or by creating its own special oasis of style.

Hani Jabsheh
Owner of Hana, a 43m yacht from CRN We spend around two to four weeks in the Mediterranean during the summer season and throughout the winter we spend most weekends onboard in the Red Sea, as well as a few longer periods of 7 – 10 days cruising the Red Sea. We love the Red Sea as it has great diving and water activities. Water-skiing, wake-boarding, kite-surfing, snorkeling, fishing etc. It also has very rugged terrain and beautiful, secluded anchorages away from any other boats, roads, people etc. The water is warm, clean and crystal clear. The cruising grounds have a lot of unspoiled areas and off the beaten track spots to visit. It's a lot more exploring type cruising. If you need to go to land, you have a few cities around that offer what most tourist spots offer, however I try to avoid such places. The Western Mediterranean is completely different, it offers great restaurants and night-life, great scenic cruising and nice anchorages, however it is very high-density and I find that you are never alone. There is always another boat anchored close by. I would love to visit Indonesia by yacht, and the South Pacific islands. New Zealand is also something I would like to experience at some point.

How much time do you spend onboard Hana? Anywhere between 4-8 weeks sporadically. Which cruising grounds are your favourite? Red Sea and Med for different reasons altogether. I love the Red Sea for the diving, fishing, water activities and the tranquil and low density nature of the area. I love the Western Mediterranean for the picturesque scenery around and great food and entertainment. Which destinations do you still wish to take Hana to? South Pacific and South East Asia. What are your best memories from aboard Hana? Diving with sharks, beautiful and quiet anchorages, the sound of the wake on a night cruise. What advice would you give to anyone building a superyacht? Wishing to purchase a super yacht? Go for it. For a first time owner, start small.
84
What do you think is the key to a successful yachting experience – both in terms of cruising experience and owning experience? Good destination, good crew and a yacht that functions well and suits the requirements that one sets out for cruising. Particular tastes require particular toys, and a boat needs to suit the owner's taste. What makes yachting special to you? The escape, the peace of mind and sense of freedom.

Jean-Guy Verges I never follow the fashion or so called trendy style of the moment I do what my clients are looking for with my own input in term of design, styling, interiors but respecting their request and wishes at first still driving to get a successful result but looking to My trend are more to have large windows and opening onto the superstructures of the yachts that allowed to bring great amount of natural light inside the boat but also creates a more relaxing feeling for guest onboard while offering the opportunity to live in direct connection with the seaside scenery. I do like open space volumes with various of living areas to be able to relax everywhere onboard a yacht and enjoying at best the life at sea. The first step is the most important when you get onboard and the feeling you are going to have makes everything so the interiors I’m doing always express a particular ambiance that correspond to their owners wishes, that catches you when getting onboard.
88
I do collect the owners request wishes and taste then I do summarize all this and start to set up all this to make a preliminary presentation to the owners then after approval I start to develop the whole concept in details and follow up until the delivery of the boat. I’m doing myself selections of materials then make proposals to the owners for their approval still they are more oriented on natural wood, stone, textile fibers like silks linen and mix of various natural textures, I do reserve the high-tech materials for the wheelhouse areas and some Home theater areas when owners wants to create a particular ambiance. Still my taste goes more for the light and medium shades of natural earth tones and mixed or dark and medium wood and stones to create warm and inviting feeling inside the boats. I think that more and more people looks to feel like at home onboard their boat. A boat is a complete package that is better to design from the beginning to the end on your own to get a perfect correlation between all elements and from external design and styling to interiors design and decoration but often I do only the interiors and some touch up to the exteriors. As of the shades and colour scheme as I have no particular preference except not using strong or to dark colours for the base of the interiors which usually eats up the spaces and kills volumes inside the boats. Still my taste goes more for the light and medium shades of natural earth tones and mixed or dark and medium wood and stones to create warm and inviting feeling inside the boats.
