MecWash measures up to Renishaw’s requirements

See MecWash on Stand C55 In July 2013, precision engineering company, Renishaw plc, turned to MecWash to provide a comprehensive aqueous component cleaning system for its new production facility in Miskin, South Wales, following the success of similar installations at its other sites in New Mills and Stonehouse. The company specified a MecWash Midi as part of the manufacturing facility that officially opened in October 2012.

3T RPD has been successful in securing roles in six out of 18 Technology Strategy Board-funded Additive Manufacturing (AM) development projects. The Technology Strategy Board, is investing £8.4m in Additive Manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, which creates objects layer by layer. 3T is leading three of the collaborative research projects and working as a partner in three further projects.

Temperature Controlled Storage Case Study at the NCC Whilst undertaking a major piece of work earlier this year, The National Composites Centre (NCC) needed to keep pre-cured components at a steady specific sub-zero temperature but were short of refrigerated storage capacity. A call was made to refrigeration experts Team Refrigeration and a 20ft aluminium refrigerated container was delivered which was kept on site for 10 months until the project was completed.
