Five tips for avoiding do-it-yourself disasters: Safety first Protect your ears and eyes when using power tools, and wear a mask to prevent breathing in fumes, or dust particles. Use tools properly to avoid any accidents and make sure kids and pets are at a safe distance. Previously known as Landscaping New Zealand (LIANZ), Registered Master Landscapers New Zealand (RML) has officially represented the New Zealand landscaping industry since 1985.
The change of name reflects the professional standards of work by its members. With branches across New Zealand, the association is actively recruiting members based on an assessment of their standard of work. Members of RML are bound by its code of conduct, ensuring professional business practices are carried out at all times.
CODE OF CONDUCT The Code of Conduct stresses the importance of RML members carrying out professional business practices. It requires compliance with current safety standards, the maintenance of appropriate insurance cover and delivery of appropriate contract documentation. Above all, it demands integrity from members in all business practices. A complaints procedure exists in the event of any dispute with a member.
