Dear Partners, AIESECers from all over the world, family and friends! When back in August 2015, our team sat in our office for the first time and started discussion about work for AIESEC International Congress 2016 we soon found out our common characteristic – love for Poland. Even though we were from different cities, we had different university background and interests we all shared the belief that Poland is a place to be! Through-out more than 400 days of our work, we were proudly representing this country, showing capabilities of this nation’s youth. We started our personal legends with the story of this Congress. Brining 1000 young leaders to the very heart of Europe was for us a mission, because well reality outperforms our image. We did our best to showcase modern, hospitable and bold Poland by stories of inspiring Poles, modern life and emotions we live every day. On the other hand, we’ve always perceived AIESEC International Congress as a huge opportunity to engage young Polish people to speak in the global public debate, on major social and economic challenges. Taking care of wide presence in media and events reaching academic campuses in Poland, we marked values of AIESEC in our society. We’re now proudly closing AIESEC’s 68th International Congress but it would have not been possible without those who believed in us —supporting us in everyway. Thank you to all of the organizations that joined us as partners for this Congress. Without whose commitment and support, this event would not be possible. For all those moments that we will cherish till the rest of our lives, for all the obstacle we found strength to fight, for all those days spent in office – here’s to the Congress Committee Team who brought the whole world to Poland. No words will ever describe what this experience meant for us.

ABOUT AIESEC INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS
AIESEC International Congress is the annual convening of AIESEC and its members from 126 countries, aimed at celebrating youth leadership, cultural diversity and global togetherness. The purpose of the conference is to gather youth delegates, business leaders, entrepreneurs and global trailblazers who will strategize and co-create AIESEC’s vision for a brief future. The 68th AIESEC International Congress was hosted by Poland’s capital from the 14th to 23rd of August 2016. More than 1000 young participants from 120 countries and regions of the world came to Warsaw. By bringing the Congress to Poland for a third time the organizers wanted to give the Polish youth a chance to speak in front of their counterparts from around the world, present Poland’s heritage and its potential to the international guests as well as gather in one place representatives of different generations, environments and cultures, and inspire them to act together. By bringing youth power to the heart of Europe we sparked Poland and draw attention to its potential. Moreover, the Congress was aiming to strengthen cooperation between the governmental, corporate and non-governmental sectors, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions to current burning world issues.
