Biomass: Plant matter such as trees, grasses, agricultural crops or other biological material. It can be used as a solid fuel, or converted into liquid or gaseous forms for the production of electric power, heat, chemicals, or fuels. Stages of Combustion of Solids: 1. Drying 2. Devolatilisation A. Pyrolysis B. Gasification 3. Flaming Combustion 4. Residual Char Combustion

Seminars: Implemented of 1-Seminar: 1st Seminar: Agricultural Residues Management with Conservation Agriculture: Potential, Constraints and Needs {Prof. Dr. Kari Tiilikkala}. 05 June 2014 Place: FCRI-Field Crops Research Institute, Giza, Giza-Governorate No. of Attendees: 63 No. of Females: 25 No. of Males: 38

The Tar Product Liquid from Tomato Straw Is Best One as Herbicide, especially, on Field Bindweed ( Convolvulus arvensis )

46-Slow Pyrolysis Cycles were done using Retort Machine as follow: 1. Tomato Straw (Solanum lycopersicum L.) {15-Cycles}. 2. Cantaloupe Straw (Cucumis melo L.) {10-Cycles}. 3. Remnants of Date Palms (Phoenix dactylifera) {10-Cycles}. 4. Remnants of Olive Trees (Olea europaea) {10-Cycles}. 5. Tamarix (Tamarix nilotica) {1-Cycle}.
