Custom Redirect for Magento 2

Custom Redirect Extension for Magento 2 by MageComp allows redirecting users to specific URLs after registration, login, logout & product add to cart events.

1. Configuration

Once you have successfully installed the extension, go to Stores -> Configuration to configure the extension for use. Here you can find an option to enable the extension.

● Custom Redirect: Option to enable or disable the extension.

2. Login & Logout Redirect Settings

● Login Redirect: Enable redirection for login from here.

● Login Redirection for Specific Customer Groups: Select customer groups for which you want to enable login redirection.

● Login Redirection On: Select either CMS Pages or Custom URL or Third party URL to redirect users after login. Here we have selected Third party URL for redirection after login.

● Third Party Url: Enter the third-party URL to redirect users.

Logout Redirect Settings

● Logout Redirect: Enable redirection to log out from here.

● Logout Redirection for Specific Customer Groups: Select customer groups for which you want to enable logout redirection.

● Logout Redirection On: Select either CMS Pages or Custom URL or Third party URL to redirect users after logout. Here we have selected CMS Pages for redirection after logout.

● CMS Page: Select the CMS page to redirect users.

● Registration Redirection: Enable website redirection from here.

● Registration Redirection for Specific Customer Groups: Select customer groups for which you want to enable registration redirection.

● Registration Redirection On: Select either CMS Pages or Custom URL or Third party URL to redirect users after registration. Here we have selected CMS pages for redirection after registration.

● CMS Page: Select the CMS page to redirect users.

4. Add to Cart Redirect Setting

● Add to Cart Redirection: Enable redirection for add to cart button from here.

● Add to Cart Redirection for Specific Customer Groups: Select customer groups for which you want to enable add to cart redirection.

● Add to Cart Redirection On: Select either CMS Pages or Custom URL to redirect users after registration. Here we have selected Custom path for redirection after add to cart.

Note – Here, the redirection field provides only 2 options – CMS page and Custom URL. The third-party URL option is not applicable for Add to Cart Redirection.

● Custom Path: Enter the URL of a custom path without domain name to redirect users.

5. Login Redirection on Frontend

Once Custom Redirect is configured properly, it will be seen enabled in frontend. Whenever a user register, login, logout or clicks add to cart, he will be redirected to page or URL set from the backend.
