Custom Shipping Extension by MageComp allows the store owner to create their own custom shipping method as well as it allows the store owner to set custom shipping price if needed.

1. Extension Installation Guide Go to My downloadable products. The file that you download normally is a zip file. Use FTP client (such as Filezilla, WinSCP, cuteFtp) to upload or copy all folders in the zip package to your Magneto site root folder. This will not overwrite any existing files, just add new files to the folder structure. Open Command line in folder root of Magento and run following command respectively: o php bin/magento setup:upgrade o php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy o php bin/magento indexer:reindex o php bin/magento cache:flush Navigate to Stores/Configuration, if you can see the extension tab, it is installed properly. Configuration Once you have successfully installed the extension, go to Stores Configuration to configure the extension for use. Custom Shipping: Enable or disable extension from here. Applicable for: Option to enable custom shipping method for admin, customer or both. Title: Set your custom shipping method title to display in store frontend. Set Shipping Options: Enable or disable extension from here. Displayed Error Message: Here you can set custom error message for unavailability of custom shipping method. Ship to Applicable Countries: Option to enable custom shipping method for all or specific countries. Ship to specific Countries: If you have selected specific countries option you have to select the countries for which you want to enable custom shipping method. Show Method if Applicable: Option to hide shipping method if it is not available for particular location. Sort Order: Define sort order to display custom shipping method in the list.

3. Custom Shipping in Frontend Checkout Once you have configured an extension from the backend and have enabled custom shipping method for your customers. While checkout, your customer can select from custom shipping method options.
If custom shipping method is not available for that particular location, it will shows an error to your customer if they makes a selection.

4. Custom Shipping while Backend Order Creation If you have enabled the custom shipping method for the admin, the admin can make use of that custom shipping options while creating order from the backend..
This admin can also set custom shipping method rate for particular custom shipping option if needed while creating order from the backend.

The extension will automatically add custom shipping options and its price to the default Magento order summary.
5. Deactivation of Extension in Case of Emergency Go to app etc config.php and find 'Magecomp_Customshipping=> 1, and replace 1 with 0. If something goes wrong, please contact us at support@magecomp.com
6. FAQs: What if I get “Access denied” error after installation of the extension? Whenever you get Access denied error while clicking on the extension tab after installation, log out admin panel and re-login.
