1st Wisdom If you love someone – show them that every day.
No matter what time of day or night, I wag my tail to show how much I love my family. When I haven’t seen them for a while, like a day or two, I also run around making little barking sounds. When I haven’t seen them for a long time, like a month, I add some running up and over furniture combined with a little high-pitched yapping so they know just how much I’ve missed them.
It is so imp ortant to always sho w our love to those w e love – it is really all that matters.

9th Wisdom Guard and protect those you love.
Dogs know they are much more than just companions and friends for their families. We are also guardians and protectors to ensure the safety of those we love. Every morning I do a tour of the house and the perimeter of the yard sniffing to see if any strangers have invaded my family’s territory. I have been known to kill blue tongue lizards just in case they might threaten my family. I have to bark very loudly at times to warn my loved ones that I am worried about their safety. But they’re safe with me… I’ve got it covered.
Watching o ut for our families an d communit y members c reates not only safety b ut also a sense of belonging.
