WELCOME TO THE 2020 LONDON CONCOURS

Well, what a year it’s been so far. There were certainly points when the London Concours 2020 was in danger of not running, but thanks to the sheer will and enthusiasm of our team, and everyone around us, here we are. So, I’d like to begin by extending my sincere thanks to the organising team for the long nights and the unwavering support.

As you may know, the London Concours is the first major automotive event to run since February, and I know I’m not alone in saying that it feels as though we all need it. The organisation of this event has been a challenge, to say the least, but look around you today and I hope you can share some of the pride that I feel in what we’ve achieved. A world-class collection of cars, a fabulous line-up of iconic luxury brands and a pristine lawn filled with visitors.

So, to the owners of over 100 privately owned cars that make up this collection – thank you for lending us your pride and joy. To the commercial partners, and specifically our Presenting Partner Montres Breguet – thank you for believing in us. To the beautiful Honourable Artillery Company venue – thank you for accommodating us during great uncertainty. And, finally, to all of you who have chosen to visit us – thank you for trusting us to safely host you here today.

With all that said, I sincerely hope you enjoy the London Concours 2020. It’s a privilege to have you here with us.

ANDREW EVANS

CONCOURS DIRECTOR We are delighted to continue our partnership with the London Concours despite unprecedented times, reinforcing our commitment to the event since its launch. The partnership emphasises the great harmony between our two passions; highlighting the high-precision craftsmanship of Breguet’s fine watchmaking and historical links to the automobile industry.

Situated in the prestigious garden setting of the Honourable Artillery Company, the London Concours provides the perfect location to launch our new exceptional timepieces this year. Alongside the current collection, a watchmaker and an artisan coming from our manufacture will showcase the art of guilloché with the historical rose engine, and offer technical know-how and demonstrations. We look forward to welcoming guests of the London Concours to discover our brand at what is set to be another fantastic year for the event.
