- Export Business of the Year Dorset-based aerospace manufacturing company, Field International, are delighted to announce they are the national winner of the Global Player - Export Business of the Year award, which took place on 9th December 2021 at the annual Chamber Business Awards. Now in its 17th year, The Chamber Business Awards - hosted by the British Chambers of Commerce - is a showpiece event in the business calendar, recognising and promoting the best of British business through a series of regional heats, culminating in a virtual Awards ceremony. Field International impressed the judges with their ability to continue to build the company’s
global presence, despite the difficulties faced by the pandemic, resulting in new bases being set up in the USA, UAE and India. Richard Marple, Group Business Development Director of Field International Group, said, “We are honoured to have won the award. It is a fantastic achievement by the team who have shown grit and determination in expanding the business globally and moving the company forward during difficult times in the world. In addition, we adopted an ‘In region’ manufacturing strategy which has underpinned our success and to win this British Chamber Award has left us over the moon.”
