As part of the Multi Activity Day there will be a MOBILE CLIMBING WALL provided by Climb Vertigo. We are hoping the children and adults will take the opportunity to experience climbing. The wall can be set to varying levels of difficulty to ensure everybody can make it to the top. Come and have a go. For only £2.50 find your climbing confidence and enjoy the view!

BIRDS OF PREY DISPLAY
Orienteering game called Naughty Numbers, health checks and a 30 minute Nordic Walking taster.
Allow us to surprise and delight you with the appearance of a mixture of magnificent birds of prey. A fantastic 45 minute display will get the afternoon off to a flying start. So be there ready for the exhibit!

The Health & Activity Team from Moors Valley Country Park will be offering a variety of FREE, fun but fitness related activities to try out for all the family.
High Mead Farm, who offer therapeutic farming which includes animal husbandry, horticulture and wood work in a nurturing environment, will be bringing their chicks, rabbits and guinea pigs. All the animals can be handled by the public under supervision from their experienced animal care team.

STALLS & SPECIAL FEATURES MUST PLAY: For just 50p per go 1. SPLAT THE RAT
Splat the rat is a simple variant on a bat and ball game. Try and splat the rat as it comes out of the bottom of the pipe. How good are your judgement skills?
2. HIGHER OR LOWER
The game starts with the dealer flipping over a card to the player. The player must then guess if the next card will be higher or lower. If all 6 cards are guessed right they can choose a prize from the hamper.
3. HUMAN FRUIT MACHINE
Fruits will be randomly pulled from a box by the 3 people behind the stall. When the bell is rung operators will pop out a hand containing one of a selection of three fruits. If the fruits match you win a prize.
4. SKITTLE ALLEY
Skittles, a fabulous old game popular in Medieval times and an excellent outdoor activity that helps develop children’s cognitive and fine motor skill. It can also get competitive, so watch out!
5. HORSE SHOE THROWING

6. TUG OF WAR- Free!
A tug of war is a fun activity for all shapes and sizes and great for building upper body strength. On arrival to the M.A.D event please sign up for the Tug of War competition due to take place between 1.15pm and 1.45pm
The operators do not know what the others are going to pull out and the selection should be random. In practice a nod and a wink can produce three lemons for a lucky child!

On the main Fryer Field there is the choice of face painting available for the old and the young!

An honest creation of this generation’ (quoted from their website) You will be lucky enough to see them between 12.30 and 1.15pm. After a short break and a Tug of war competition, they will return to the stage for a second set between 1.45 and 2.30pm .
They will set Fryer Field on fire! (Not literally)
