3 Wimborne Minster King Charles III Coronation 2003 2023 PROGRAMME PRODUCED Wimborne Minster Coronation Celebration 7 may 2023 11am - 7pm BY PULFORD PUBLICITY Souvenir Programme

The people of Wimborne Minster convey our sincere congratulations to King Charles III on his Coronation.
Wimborne has a proud history of celebrating royal occasions in style, demonstrated with a weekend of activities celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of our late Queen.
This weekend is going to be no different, with the coming together of our Minster, our Town Council, and our BID to mark this special occasion.
This programme brings together some of the special events taking place over the weekend.
Wimborne BID represents the businesses of the town and are proud to bring you a family day out on Sunday 7th May as part of the national Coronation Big Lunch celebrations. Our Stage on the Square is hosting a day of live music, and a quiz show to get involved with. There's children's entertainment with Little Gizmos from 11am to keep the little ones entertained, and plenty of seating to enjoy a picnic. All of the activities are free for you to attend.
Wimborne is a single-use plastic free town, so please do be considerate to bring re-usable containers to the Big Lunch. For ideas of how to cut down single use plastics, please look up our friends at Wimborne War on Waste.
We are so grateful to our friends at the Museum of East Dorset for the loan of some wonderful photos of Wimborne from past decades. Take a trip down memory lane to see some key moments in history and a slice of Wimborne's life.
We hope you enjoy the weekend’s activities. Thank you for supporting local business.
