MY MOTIVATION PROJECT! Hey Guys! Welcome to my Motivation project! I want you guys to read and learn from this and get something out of it. So let's get started, so the first survey I asked people who motivates them. These are the results I got.
Survey Motivation *Reading on that topic (Article, Magazine) 111 *Depending on Family- Friends 11111 *Listening to music- 11111111 *Talking to people you trust(love)- 111111 *Reading Bible or Quran- 11 *Mentor- 11 *Quotes- 1111 I realized that music was the highest tally marked one. I think it was the highest because music has all kind of words and inspiration. No matter what kind of mood you are in- sad, happy, mad or even exhausted. I also took another project, but this time it was from an Adult's perspective.
Adults Survey on Motivation *Build community- Social media- 1111 *Using Humor- 11 *Stimulate yourself- 111111 *Talking to parents- 11111111111111
I think Talking to parents was a big thing for adults because adults are so much older now since they were before as teens. I believe they trust in their parents more, since they relayed on them and took trust in them for a very long time. One of my favorite things that I did in this project was interviewing some of the people I met in downtown Birmingham. So I went around driving in downtown with my sister and me just looking for some homeless people living on the roads and we just asked them a few questions. This is how it went.... I went around giving food, One caught my eye the most it was this homeless man I saw laying on this pole stick near this gas station. As we were giving him food, I asked the homeless man, Robert that was his name. How can you smile with this kind of situation. The homeless man answered because of people like you, when people like you help I feel like there is still hope in this world. He said I always keep myself motivated no matter what Situation. And as you can see I'm not in the best situation, but he told me whoever you are going to share my story too I want you to tell them to never quit. Keep your head high and never bring it down. And until this day, whenever i am around in downtown Birmingham. I always make sure to go and just say hi. He really doesn't expect me to bring him food or money or stuff like that. he said he just likes some company and somebody to talk to and understand where he is coming from. Another story why I like to be motivated is because I have a little 5 year old sister. She is my motivation for me to be a good role model. She looks up to me and sometimes copies what I do. She motivates me to always be my best because I know that she looks up to me. My last but not least story is if you don't know there are several middle eastern countries that are at war currently such as Palestine . Palestine is under an oppressive rule of Israel, yet they always have the motivation to fight back for their country. They are motivated by their love for their country. They could have already lost hope but because their deep love to their country they are motivated to keep fighting for their country. Also the middle eastern wars like Syria and Palestine are what keep me motivated to stand up for them. As you can see they are in pain and suffering but are still fighting for what is right, which shows their bravery. So their bravery motivates you to support their cause.
Here are 5 ways to be Self-Motivated 1) Get Positive. Positive thoughts are the only way you'll even find motivation in the first place 2) Get Confident. While thinking positive, you have to think you are Capable to but as much effort as you can to this task. 3) Keep it small. When making goals, you have to start of slow and than in the process go higher. 4) Track your progress. tracking your outcome on the positive behavior will give you a purpose. 5) Do what you enjoy. If what you love to do doesn't make as much money or something like that. You have to think of how you will make it better. Think about the aspects that you like, and make more of them. I believe from all those 5 ways to self motivation, the fifth one (doing what you enjoy) is the most important. I just can't imagine how that would feel going to a place everyday that you depend on and you don't even like it. But if you are one of those people just remember that you can make it enjoyable, I mean these things won't go away so might as well play them up at make them as manageable as possible. My other subject that I will be talking about on motivation is doing well in school,
4 ways to do gain motivation to do well in school 1) admit you have to change. Tell yourself that you are doing something wrong and you are willing to fix it even if it consumes time 2) Write down everything. In every subject and class write notes, homework anything you need to remember and go over when you get home 3) Having a study buddy. It isn't always the easiest thing to do stuff by yourself, so grab yourself your friend and join in together and I promise you that it will go smoother than you thought 4) Reward yourself. After every good grade or goo thing you did in school, remember to always reward yourself at the end. To feel like you actually got something out of all of this. And now you will be looking forward to a reward after every good thing you accomplished
4 ways to Motivate yourself to Lose Weight 1) Set a realistic goal. Start of with just thinking slow, even 1 pound per 2 weeks. 2) Find a weight loss partner. A person that wants to achieve the same goals that you want will make everything easier, it lets you share what you're going through with someone else. Cutting down on that mental stress. 3) Tell your family and friends about your plan. Telling other people will let the progress go easier, you know someone is always by your side and is their to support you. 4) Think positively. Saying stuff like "I'll never make any progress" will lead you nowhere. You Know you can do it and I believe in that you can.
What I want to carry away from this experience is No matter what place in life you are everybody needs some type of motivation. After hearing what my homeless friend Robert said, I just want to tell people to never take motivation for granted.
