WAY TO HEAVEN SKYSCRAPER Mixed Use sky scraper -New capital
sky scrapers have a unique peoperty that it catches all the sight up to sky .it acts as a Way that can reach the heaven Vision : to design a unique sustanable eco-friendly skyscraper that adapts to the sorrounding enviroment and context a living creature not a static object living creatures do three main activities to survive Eating ,Drinking, breathing In addition to all of these the spatial experience of users is very important so ..an artificial cloud made by vapor splinkers at the entrance lobby in order to make users feel like they are entering a cloud moving up to the heaven Its eats the solar energy like a plant by the photovoltaic skin and solar panels Converting the solar energy into electric energy in order to produce the sufficient power to the building .it drinks the rain water from the cloud by manganin rods which condensate the vapor from the clouds into potable water why manganin ??? cause it has the lowest temperature coefficient so it can resists the change in temperature.
10
and finally breathes the surrounding winds by vertical wind turbine placed on the external columns Converting the Kinetic wind energy into electric energy in order to produce the sufficient power to the building
The seeds of a flower head form interlocking spirals in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The number of clockwise spirals differs from the number of counterclockwise spirals, and these two numbers are called the plant's parastichy numbers The Mathematical Lives of Plants The golden angle is about 137.5ยบ. Two radii of a circle C form the golden angle if they divide the circle into two areas A and B so that A/B = B/C. The tower floors rotates by the golden angle 137.4 degrees giving the visual perception of a natural stair way connocting them directlytowards the heaven

safety for children and families. - A dense network of walking and transportation results in short, varied and direct connections that improve access to goods, services and public transport.
• objectives - Creating mutual needs without separating them by making each party need the other through job opportunities. - High quality, unobstructed pedestrian foot paths providing basic mobility for all. - Green parks for inhabitants to ensure
13
• Three Main Aspects of Design • Social Aspects - Enhancing the social fabric of Cairo generally and Maspero residents specifically through functional exchangeability and integrity between diverse social classes. - Offering highly-secured community facing drug dealers problem. - Proposing solutions for existing lack in Livelihood needs of residents like: 1) Basic infrastructure in the areas 2) Daily goods market.
• Economic Aspects - Creating a mutual economic platform for both local community and investors. - Developing economically feasible projects which benefit the country, investors and residents. - Offering a flexible development prototype which can be modified according to market variables and local community desires.
14
• Spatial Consideration - Connectivity: Central urban distribution enhancing the vitality of the centroid of triangle. - Applying the theory of change and transformation upon housing units. - Wider roads for ambulance and fire fighting vehicles.
Maspero public library
Maspero Public library is a cultural extension to the Egyptian museam based in tahrir square a padesterian tunnel is used to link both of them on to the main axis of the projet heading to el rakaaeb museam. These three point will hold the new cultural axis of cairo .the library contains main reading halls and some workshop and seminar rooms ,several lounges and Computer labs A high level resedential units directly on el galaa street to attract another community level to the site serving the bussiness district and new commercial projects in maspero triangle also a community center that serves the middle and low lass people imroving their personal skills and teaching them different subjects the center ontains many workshops and seminar rooms . A transportation hub will include the new metro station and bus terminals also other transportation means like taxis and mini buses surving all the project inhabitants and linking the project with the other parts of cairo . in order to attract investors and large firms and alos surving maspero inhabitants to go to their daily destinations.

3-Executive report • Research phase
The research phase started by a repetitive visits to site of Maspero triangle studying the current situation of the inhabitants their homes their daily activities and problems they face . Also studying all conditions of buildings urban spaces and plants roads and lighting posts . Also studying the winning competition proposals and others attempts of local researchers to study the existing condition of the maspero triangle and their proposed solutions
• Research Implementation
All data gathered during the research phase were summed up and was transformed into a detailed digital model illustrating all these information then into a physical model to the scale of 1/500 so that the existing situation can be easily sensed by any one who wants to know more about it.
• Design approach.
Several attempts were made in order to reach the most suitable new masterplan for the project affecting both the programmatic and design concepts . From the programmatic point of view there were many points to deal with and how to make the renovation of the site serve all stakeholders from different point of views and to solve the great conflict between the government and the local inhabitants to fulfill the needs of both of them by enriching the economic feasibility of the project and also providing a suitable living environment for maspero inhabitants . Moving to the design concept which focused on how to exploit all the elements of the site and the neighboring context which led to an urban grid that connects all the different parts and functions of the triangle in a one homogenous unit converting Each element or building into a part of a hall entity. The new master plan grid is an extension
of the urban fabric that offer a total view of the Nile equally to the whole triangle. Direct axis from and to the landmarks and internal spaces. extending the Urban fabric from the surrounding context .Integrating pedestrian and vehicular routes inside the triangle with minimum intersections. Taking into consideration Walkability enhancement and the visual perception of the main roads and buildings.
• Design developing
Creating linear park between the high rise buildings to connect the residential zone with the Nile. An iconic, multi-functional landscape which promotes the health of the river and its adjacent communities acting as a model both nationally and globally. The existence of a transportation hub was an essential solution to the problem of the district . Due to traffic problems, the street needs a new contemporary expression and layering of transportation. The idea of the 3D Street created five iconic “lanterns” by twisting the required program into unique, visible destinations.
• Conclusion
As one of the most important projects in Egypt and one of the most difficult problems that face the Egyptian governments nowadays the selected approaches of the renovation project of maspero triangle were set to fulfill all stakeholders needs and increase the economic feasibility of the project without oppressing local inhabitants.

Egyptian embassy in Beirut • Design approach From the famous ancient egyptian myth of isis and osiris the design concept was derived from the relatioship between the ancient egyptian myth and the land of lebanon or the phoenix civilization . When Osiris was grown up he married his sister Isis, And Seth married Nephthys: for he too being a god could marry only a goddess. Osiris became sole ruler of Egypt and reigned on earth as Re had done. But Seth the Evil One, their brother, envied Osiris and hated Isis. Yet he had made his plans, aided by seventy-two of his wicked friends and Aso the evil queen of Ethiopia. Secretly Seth obtained the exact measurements of the body of Osiris, and caused beautiful chest to be made that would fit only him. It was fashioned of the rar-
20
est and most costly woods: cedar brought from Lebanon, and ebony from Punt at the south end of the Red Sea for no wood grows in Egypt except the soft and useless palm. “I will give this chest to whosoever fits it most exactly!” cried Seth. And at once the conspirators began in turn to see if they could win it. “Let me see if I will fit into this marvelous piece of work,” said Osiris, and he laid himself down in the chest while all gathered round breathlessly. Seth and his companions took the chest which held the body of Osiris and cast it into the Nile; and Hapi the Nile-god carried it out into the Great Green Sea where it was tossed for many days until it came to the shore of Phoenicia near the city of Byblos. Here the waves cast it into a tamarisk tree that grew on the shore; and the tree shot out branches and grew leaves and flowers to make a fit resting place for the body of the good god Osiris Presently King Malcander heard of it, and he and his wife, Queen Astarte, came to the seashore to gaze at the tree. By now the branches had grown together and hidden the chest which held the body of Osiris in the trunk itself.
• Form generation
the design concept were derived so that the embassy building represents the ancient chest resting at the shore and the tree branches are growing around creating a marvelous sight of the ancient egyptian god

Cairo central library • Economical analysis
• Urban Setting
the square was a cultural center in cairo but nowadays in changed into one of the most trading centers in cairo and now it is full of Hawkers . the unorganization of the square and and due to the bad human behaviours the first impression of any visitor is not as good as it was in history. so this project main target is to reorganize the square by a way that can reguliate the trading process there in addition to the cultural purpose of the project. and also to make an organized retail shops in the plaza and in the lanscape to acieve awin win sitiuation for both the government that will gain an organized suare
the square lies betwen two different types of urban fabric because it separates the fatimid cairo and the khedevian cairo also the square is one of the main traffic cenetrs in cairo with very haigh traffic denisty because of the governemental and trading shops that exists nowadays there
• Historical background The history of the square had a great impact on choosing the project entrance which is the same as the old opera house to bring back the old historical heritage of the square
• Color and pattern study:
• Sky&datum lines &proportions After several site visits a deep analysis of neigh-
bouring buildings were held taking in considerthe sky line of the neighbouring context is ation the used colors and architectural patterns variable so the average height were taken as each pattern were analysed such that it could 17 meters with taking the building profiles be the initial point of the generation process and setbacks in consedration to allow the the maximum amount of day lighting to reduce the omount of energy needed by the building
24
Applying two of the urban spatial design theories which are the (linkage thoeory) and the (place theory) by linking the opera square visually with outlet of el attaba underground which is the most crowded zone in the site and the place theory by making the perspective of the inner plaza pointing to the statue and the entrance is the same as the old opera house to bring back the historical seritage of the square. analyzing the project program and orientation of zones the the relation between them
the context is very rich with beautiful colors and artistic patterns. which reflects the historical heritage of the square and the deffirent architectural movments that can be be easily noticed there . so that the building can visually interfere with the neighbouring contextthese colors were the main colors of the project also some of these patterns were used in landscape. Spliting the the Knowledge center and the public function zones to result in two masses representing the two different urban and hitorical cultures where the site exists From the philosophical point of view Reading results in an ascending impact in human general knowledge and culture by applying this keyword (Ascending) on the mass in resulted in two separate ascending masses
