This is my first attempt at producing a creative interpretation of Naguib Mahfouz's The Thief and the Dogs. I explored the different social and typological requirements related to building a theatre in Izbit Awlad Allam throughout the semester. The resulting conceptual mapping and schematic drawings were developed in the following semester, leading to the final design of the Awlad Allam Theatre Company (https://issuu.com/mahmoud_elkady/docs/thesis_2)
