Artist Laura Lander A recent transplant from Kentucky to Maine, Laura Lander is the author/illustrator of eleven independently published books, five of them for children, with more on the way. She also enjoys illustrating for other authors. Besides painting, Laura spends her days exploring the natural beauty of the State of Maine. She welcomes the serendipity of meeting new friends and takes delight in spending time with her grandchildren (via Zoom or outdoor, socially distanced, masked-up visits). Laura Lander’s work is featured on the covers of A Debt Too Dear (page 5) and To Touch the Earth Again (page 11), and throughout Masterson’s Magical Merry-Go-Round (page 30).
