Worker fired for marriage ordered reinstated

In the Legislature, workers are opposing multiple legislative attacks on workers’ rights. These include LD 1571, which would decimate the Maine Workers’ Compensation Program; LD 309, which would take away the voice of Maine workers in determining their wages, benefits and working conditions; and LD 1725, which would erode unemployment insurance for Maine workers.
