A stone country cottage, in the middle of the woods, that doubles as a glorious party pad. One couple have got it sorted. Simon Young set up his interiors company, Re, with his business partner, Jenny Vaughan. Young lives in a distinctive stone house in Northumberland with his wife Vicky. Re specialises in unusual interiors objects, from vintage jelly-mould lights to antique needlepoint cushions and all manner of other gorgeous retro-inspired functional pieces that have been ‘recycled, restored, rescued and rejuvenated’, according to Young, so it’s no surprise he brings his work home with him.
