Un budget de 17,4 mios € sera octroyé aux projets réalisés par le Service Hygiène. Ce dernier planifie également la mise en place d’un nouveau centre de ressources.

En matière de circulation, les installations techniques se verront attribuer une enveloppe de 4,9 mios €.

Des investissements seront aussi réalisés dans la nouvelle infrastructure du Service Architecte –Maintenance située rue de Neudorf (12,7 mios €), dans la construction d’un bâtiment pour le Service Cimetières (4 mios €), ainsi que dans le pont devant relier les quartiers de Cents, Neudorf et Weimershof (2 mios €) à l’horizon 2025.

Enfin, jeunes et seniors ne seront pas oubliés, puisque le réaménagement d’un home pour scouts et la rénovation des logements du Konviktsgaart pour les seniors feront l’objet d’un financement de respectivement 1,5 mio € et 2,4 mios €.

EN Many other investments feature on the City’s agenda this year, amounting to €118.8M. A total of €19.1M has been earmarked for bringing more nature into the city. This includes the Ban de Gasperich municipal park development project (€5M), which features the construction of a new restaurant inside its grounds (€1.9M).

The Pétrusse restoration project also features new outdoor public facilities, including a new playground, an outdoor gym and areas to relax, as well as an upgrade of the mini-golf course (€4M). In 2022, major improvement and redevelopment works began on the Bambësch playground to align it with current safety standards. The project should be completed this year, receiving up to €2.2M in funding.

A total of €17.4M will be allocated to projects carried out by the Service Hygiène (Sanitation Department). The latter is also planning to create a new resource centre.

In terms of traffic, €4.9M will be allocated to technical installations.

Investments will also be made for the Service Architecte – Maintenance’s (Architecture and Maintenance Department) new facilities located on Rue de Neudorf (€12.7M), for the construction of a new building (€4M) for the Service Cimetières (Cemeteries Department) and for the bridge linking the Cents, Neudorf and Weimershof neighbourhoods (€2M) by 2025.

Finally, young people and seniors will not be left out! A scouts’ home and housing units at the Konviktsgaart assisted living facility for seniors will be refurbished, receiving funding of €1.5M and €2.4M respectively.
