Maitri Shah

Maitri Shah is an urban designer and planner with over five years of experience working on projects in India, United States of America, UAE, Qatar and Switzerland. These projects have enabled her to gain experience in navigating and understanding urban policies in a variety of national and regional contexts. Maitri has a keen interest in participatory planning and has worked on neighbourhood, sector as well as regional level participatory planning projects. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to apply these frameworks across multiple stages of design projects. She also has a particular interest in implementable and scalable design interventions through developing design guidelines and toolkits. Maitri strongly believes in community-driven planning and aspires to continue working on such projects throughout her career.
