First Class Honours BA Product Design Nottingham Trent University
I am a BA Product Design graduate, with a range of experience in design, ceramic production as well as painting and illustration commissions.
I am passionate about making the world a better places, whether that be through creating art, advocating for sustainability or bringing awareness to social issues. I hope to further develop as a creative so that I can continue doing this within something that I love.
The recast range comprises of a pendant light, candle holder, placemat and coasters which are made from 65% reclaimed fired ceramic waste. This waste is normally difficult to recycle and thus commonly ends up in landfill.
This project not only utilises waste, but also pays homage to its origin; the form of the products is inspired by ceramic production processes, which the material has gone through in its lifetime.
visual exploration.
The images on this page show visual analysis of photos taken in a ceramic studio that the waste originates from.
visual exploration.
Key shapes and patterns were identified and explored further before being turned into three dimensional forms. This was the starting point for generating product concepts that eventually lead to the final design of the range. For more detail on this project please see supporting document names ‘‘recast’’
collage.
This is part of a series of collages that I created as mood boards to inspire a painting I was working on that aimed to explore femininity. It uses images from Zwierciadlo, one of my mums magazines.

These are two examples from a series of illustrations which I did for a client’s website and social media.
The client asked for a warm and welcoming feel which is also fun and playful and in fitting with their current website.
digital drawing of antique sculptures. still life study.
The purpose of this drawing was to explore how I can refine my rough sketchy style while staying true to a way I have always approached drawing.
(2023)
This series of drawing aims to embrace parts of the body which many people find hard to love, including stomachs. I used round fluid forms to highlight the nature of the beauty of the figures.

playing around with simple forms.
While I try to embrace my rough and sketchy way of drawing, I also try to explore creating more minimalistic images.

This was one of the first pieces I did on procreate which felt like I was true to my style.

finding my feet on procreate. digital portrait.
This sketchbook spread was the beginning of me using techniques learned in my product design sketching classes in my personal work, e.g. the use of thicker line weights for the outer outlines of forms and rendering with promarkers. (2021)
using rendering techniques in organic forms.
