Immigration in Germany is currently a much discussed topic. The question arises on how should architecture that welcomes the immigrants function and integrate. The object is intended as a center that offers first information and culture exchange for immigrants. The structures that are implemented in the object serve as places of communion and the exchange of information. They adapt and support the function of each floor, with the purpose of invigorating the space and involving the visitor.

Entlang dem neuen Wihaldeweg, welcher sich als Spielstrasse vom Oberhusbach der natürlichen Hangneigung folgend in einer sanften Steigung in Richtung Hobacherwald erstreckt, werden acht gleichartige Gebäudekörper mit identischem Fussabdruck so zueinander platziert, dass interessante und grosszügige Zwischenräume entstehen und insgesamt 44 neue Wohnungen von der idealen Besonnung und den abwechslungsreichen Nah- und Fernsichten profitieren.
