TRI.BIAN IT IS A CONDOMINIUM CREATED FOR THE STANDARD FAMILY, WHERE THE DIFFERENT SPACES ARE DESIGNED TO BE DYNAMIC AND WITH DIFFERENT USES. THE CONCEPT OF THE HOUSE IS TO CREATE A DYNAMISM IN ITS ROUTE, TO BREAK WITH THE TRADITIONAL SCHEMES AND TO PROVIDE THE USER TO SENSITIZE WITH THE SPACES BY MEANS OF NATURAL LIGHTING AND COMFORT TERMINATION.

Our main concern from the beginning was the quality of education in Costa Rica, however among the factors that can define the quality of it, we focused specifically on infrastructure as a key determinant for educational development and quality. We discovered that at the infrastructure level there were problems both in the quantitative part, number of educational centers or coverage, and in the qualitative, quality of the physical spaces. Our research and analysis focuses on the parameters that affect this qualitative part of the infrastructure.

HYPOTHESIS The deterioration of the educational infrastructure and the loss of the identity role of the schools can be corrected by adopting a community school model in which the educational buildings fulfill their role and public character, providing quality spaces for the students and in the same way working as spaces for community development and recreation.

This model would strengthen educational development by providing a quality infrastructure, the necessary complementary spaces, new uses and schedules that would turn the educational building into a more efficient one and finally could insure the centers without having to resort to enclosures that isolate it from their surroundings. In the same way, the identity of the citizen would also be strengthened by converting the educational center into one of community development that, in addition to its openness, allows a more profitable urban experience, providing the community with meeting and permanence spaces.

METODOLOGY

EDU.CO proposes the creation of an alternative methodology for the development of architecture and educational infrastructure in which educational buildings fulfill their role and public nature. These community educational centers provide quality educational spaces for students and these work as spaces for community development and growth, strengthening education and citizen identity as well as promoting a more profitable urban experience.

INTEGRACIÓN COMUNITARIA Integración a la comunidad por medio de la permeabilidad física del centro y la inclusión de variedad de espacios para el uso de todos los grupos comunitarios.
