Professional Partnerships
The Agency engaged the Public Relations Society of Kenya, Marketing Society on probono basis to create a in covid Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) plan for roll out towards the road to recovery. The professionals and team of experts handed over the Covid-19 Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) Strategies, Workplan & Concepts to the Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency CEO Wilfred Marube. This brought a close to the engagement that kicked off in July 2020.
PRSK, MSK team hands over the IMC strategy to KEPROBA teams. The strategy includes recovery plans for export promotion initiatives, nation branding and institutional positioning.

Mashujaa Day Celebrations
The Agency participated during this year’s Mashujaa’s day celebration that was held on 20th December 2020 at the Gusii County Stadium. Development Partners Webinar
As the country joined hands to encourage and celebrate Eliud Kipchoge and Brigid Kosgei participation in the London Marathon held on 4th October 2020, The Agency supported by branding Eldoret county with the Make it Kenya banners, digital campaigns rallying Kenyan’s towards patriotism in support of the Kenyan athletes and the Kenya products exported to the United Kingdom market.. The Agency also hosted a luncheon which was attended by Tourism Sector Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, Chief Executive officers from various entities and county Government officials.
The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency organized a development partners webinar on 12th October 2020 under the theme ‘’Fostering Partnerships and Synergy in Export Promotion and Nation Branding’’. The main goal of the webinar was to develop credibility and inspire actions towards partnerships in export promotion and nation branding .The webinar was oriented towards discussions on the Strategic Focus, Status of Kenya’s Trade Relations with the World, Partnerships and Synergy as a National Resource and Perspectives from International Trade Centre and UNHABITAT on partnerships and synergy in Trade Promotion and Nation Branding. The webinar attracted 62 registrants and of these 47 attended the event; these were drawn from a total of 31 institutions representing bilateral and multilateral partners, corporations, National Government, Trade Support Institutions and Trust. In attendance to the webinar was the Principal Secretary of State Department for Trade and Enterprise, Amb. Johnson Weru, The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency Chairman, Mr. Jaswinder Bedi and the Agency Chief Executive Officer Dr. Wilfred Marube PS State Department for Trade and Enterprises, Amb. Media engagements
To promote Kenya’s products in the regional and international market, Kenya Export Promotion and branding agency explored areas of possible collaboration with Nation Media group. The Agency team paid a courtesy call to the Nation Media Group CEO Mr. Stephen Gitagama to discuss areas of partnership. Nation Media Group is a key partner in progressing and sustaining Kenya’s export agenda and nation brand narrative. In partnership the two organization will roll out a nationwide call to profile all the companies that have adopted the made in Kenya mark where the sector players will pay select the desired rates for coverage in the supplement section of the Nation newspaper to enhance the visibility of the Made in Kenya products.

Increasing Export Base
Directors from the PCTL Automation Ltd paid a courtesy to the Agency to explore areas of collaboration. PCTL Automation Ltd is an electrical engineering solution provider company specializing in the design, manufacturing and servicing of electrical switchboards, Industrial Automation, Servo Voltage Regulators for both commercial and industrial environments. Key discussions were held in regard to expanding their export base to COMESA in order to benefit from the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement

COUNTY ENGAGEMENTS Uasin Gishu County
In a bid to enhance County collaborations and engagements, the Agency engaged the County Government of Uasin Gishu where they engaged the Deputy Governor H.E. Daniel Chemno on rolling out a export programme which will assist in assessing the county products export readiness and possible areas of intervention. The continuing county outreach programmes are designed to build trust and credibility between the Agency and the stakeholders.

Kisumu County
The Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency outreach team engaged the Kisumu County CEC Trade Prof. Judith Miguda- Attyang. Dr. Gerald Ondiek, the county Chief Officer in Business and enterprise and Polycarp Otedo, Assistant Director of enterprises development in Kisumu and Siaya County were also present. Discussions areas focused on product development, inventory of enterprises and the upcoming Africities summit in 2021 which Kisumu County will be hosting.

Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategy to boost Kenya’s horticultural exports Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency in collaboration with Kenya Flower Council( KFC), Kenya Airways, Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya( FPEAK) and Fresh Produce Consortium of Kenya (FPC Kenya) developed a one year integrated marketing plan targeting a 10% export growth by 2020-2021 on its horticultural product. The strategy is targets European Union, United Kingdom, Australia,
United Arab Emirates, Russia, China and the United States of America. Some of the outlined strategies include: Combined horticultural events planning, Advocacy on common issues, Public relations activities, Digital marketing, Compelling storytelling campaigns. This was achieved during a three-day workshop spearheaded by Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency during a workshop in Naivasha.

Branding State Agencies
The Export Promotion and Branding Agency CEO Dr Wilfred Marube training board members from various Government institutions on Corporate Branding and Communications.
