Kenya’s Export Performance in July - September (2023 & 2024)
Kenya’s trade performance in the period (July-September) of 2024 presented mixed outcomes compared to the same period in 2023. According to data from KRA (KNBS), both exports and imports showed varying trends during the period from July to September 2024.
The country saw a marginal growth in its total exports, while imports experienced wider marginal growth, leading to a widening trade deficit. This report offers a detailed comparative analysis of Kenya’s trade for the reviewed period of 2024 versus that of 2023, highlighting key trends in export destinations, major export commodities, and trade balances with specific countries.
