Dr. Paul Ronoh, Principal Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, inaugurated the National Horticulture Standing Committee on 14th January 2025. The mandate of the committee is to identify and address challenges within the horticulture value chain.
The committee is composed of the following members:
1. Mr. Collin Micheni Marangu, Agriculture Secretary, State Department for Agriculture - Chairman
2. County Executive Committee Agriculture Caucus Chair, Council of Governors
3. Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Export Promotion and Branding Agency
4. Managing Director, Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Services
5. Director General, Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organisation
6. Managing Director, Pest Control Products Board
7. Chief Executive Officer, Fresh Produce Consortium Kenya
8. Chief Executive Officer, Kenya Flower Council
9. Chief Executive Officer, Fresh Produce Exporters Association of Kenya
10. Chief Executive Officer, Agrochemicals Association of Kenya
