Brody Turney

The Ray Sparks Band

At the age of 8, Brody Turney received his first guitar, a month later began taking lessons, as time passed he began to sing and learn to play along with each song. It wasn’t untill he was 13 years old he stepped out on to a stage in front of hundreds of people at Talladega super speedway as a surprise to his father to play and sing Infront of anybody. From that day forward music became part of his lifestyle. He has played in Nashville TN on a few occasions, Lawrenceburg TN, and quite a bit in North Alabama.

has been on a stage and entertaining audiences as long as he can remember. He brings passion, excitement, and honest music to listeners. He has developed a reputation as a singer, guitar player, and songwriter in venues from Muscle Shoals to Music Row. What style music does he play? He would like you to be the judge of that. It is somewhere between new and old country with flavors of blues, gospel, and even a little rock and roll. His influences range from Johnny Cash to John Mayer, from Jimi Hendrix to James Taylor, and from Restless Heart to Zach Brown Band. out of Moulton, Alabama features music from the 50s, 60s, & 70s and specializes in Corporate and Wedding entertainment. The Burleson Singers

are made up of third and fourth grade students from F. E. Burleson Elementary School. They are under the direction of Stephanie Porter. The Singers will be debuting the new school song written especially for the 100 year celebration of Burleson School by Stephanie Porter and Shane Porter.

The Freight Train Bandits

found each other by happenstance while working at the Freight House Restaurant in Hartselle, Alabama. During the summer of 2016, founder and lead singer DJ Neal heard about a local singing contest being held and decided to compete. However, he quickly realized that mere karaoke tracks were not capable of capturing the sound he wished to create to accompany his singing. And so he sought the

from Hartselle on bass and vocals. Katrina, also from Hartselle, has been singing since she was a little girl. She started with her dad around the house and continued all through school. Katrina and her dad played in Mobile for two years before moving back to Hartselle in 2015. You can find them entertaining all over Alabama.

Gidget Maxwell

help of a group of musicians as talented and passionate as himself in order to form a band. Little did he know that two such musicians had been his coworkers for several months already and were more than willing to join him. With Daniel Hundley on guitar and Bryant Woodard on bass, DJ realized this newfound band was on the verge of being something far more significant than he had imagined. The boys found their signature sound when DJ employed a cajon in order to provide the percussive backbone that was needed to complete the musical structure already developed by their captivating guitar licks, hypnotic basslines, and towering vocals. Once the contest was over, the three bandmates unanimously agreed to make the arrangement permanent and to continue making music together. The Freight Train Bandits are self-classified as alternative indie folk and are currently working towards the release of the first album some time in 2017. In the meantime, they have an addictive passion for performing live and you can catch them at local venues near you!
