PREMIUM TENSILE MEMBRANES

MakMax Australia offers a range of the best PVC and PTFE membranes in the world from suppliers who have passed our rigorous quality testing and share our commitment to quality, longevity and performance. We recommend membranes with the most suitable properties for attractive and long-lasting tensile membrane structures.

While both PVC and PTFE are durable and hard-wearing materials, PTFE membranes have a significantly longer life-span, maintaining their performance under much harsher conditions.

LIGHTING

» MakMax employs a proprietary LED light dropper, which is used to bounce premium sports-grade lighting off the membrane creating an even, diffuse light under the canopy.

» We provide a computer-analysed lighting design on every project to ensure an even coverage accross the surface at a minium of 200LUX.

» All electrical works in accordance with AS3000.

FOOTINGS

» Foundations to suit layout & site geotechnical conditions.

» Where footings are installed by the customers builders or construction company, MakMax Australia to provide Reaction Load Summaries certified by registered engineer to enable cast in of HD bolts.

STEEL

» All structural steelwork is designed and fabricated to AS4100 including architecturally exposed connections.

» Steel structure is finished with an multi-layer architecural paint system using only premium quality paint (AkzoNoble International) for a high-quality and longer-lasting finish. Choose from a range of paint colours to really make your canopy structure stand out.

HARDWARE

» We use high-quality galvanised steel over-fabric valley cables.

» All hardware (Nuts, Bolts Washers etc) is Australian Made and galvanised for extended life.

GUTTERS & DOWNPIPES

» Guttering and drainage are designed to match historical rainfall data.

» We include premium Colorbond half-round gutters and painted PVC downpipes, as well as proprietary rainwater sumps at each low point of the leaning arch structure.

» Stormwater design compliant with AS3500.
