ou didn’t think the bank gave you all that money just for textb o oks and cl ass es, did you? Straight off the bat, we must say that we highly recommend that you do not do any of the items on this list. Some items are irresponsible, others are just a bad idea and they’re all pretty childish.
That being said, these are the best years of your life, just ask your parents, so it’s time to shake off the dust of High School-y servitude, strap on a set of adrenalin glands and make some mistakes you will regret for the rest of your life. NOTE: Witnesses are necessary for credit. February 2015 STUDENTBRANDS.CO.ZA 7

Party so hard not even Uber will lift you
1
If you pull this off we’ll be impressed. Uber are pretty chilled people, and we’re tasking you with making them a lot less agreeable. These legends will lift you home even if you’re slightly over the limit, for the student-friendly price of around R5 to start and R7-50 per km after that. The goal is to get so overflowing with liquor that even the gentlemanly-good-guy Uber driver is seen driving away saying: “Nope, nope, nope, nope!”. This will take care of another item we had to leave off of our list: Sleep in, or just outside of a bar. We recommend at least six shots of your drink of choice, half a bottle of no one’s drink of choice, and a couple of Red Bulls for good measure.
2
Bunk a class
This might seem like an unnecessary mention on this essential student bucket list, but in fact, you’d be surprised the terror some students feel when just thinking about missing out on what might be said in that Pscyh 101 lecture. You have our permission: bunk. Go see a movie… in a movie theatre… on a Wednesday… morning. Or just sit on the grass and play cards with your friends. Trust us, they’re in more trouble with their degree than you are with yours. And, no catching up on what you missed out on.

FREE, MY FRIEN
What’s hotter than a hottie? A hottie with an accent! Hell you don’t even need to be good at the pick-up, just offer them some biltong, teach them how to swear in vernac, and you’re in. South Africa has the best looking people on the planet living here already, we’re not disputing this. We’re just saying that sometimes the grass is more exotic on the other side. Bonus points if they don’t speak any English at all. Bonus, bonus points if you are the foreigner in their land. That means you got off the couch and NOTHING travelled somewhere.

Get arrested
We’re not talking bank robberies here. You’re at university to get an education, not a criminal record. Rather think “misdemeanour”: start a bar fight or pull a badly timed prank on a cop. Plus you’re bound to meet some interesting people in jail. Who knows, it could be the story you tell your children about how you met their mother. And, Barry Roux just became available.
5
Get kicked out of an all you can eat joint
Sushi would be a good choice in this case. We want you to eat so much that management is forced to “escort you from the premises”. Bring friends, it’ll be a lot more fun and you’ll be able to cram in more food due to a combination of peer pressure and competitive spirit.

Everything costs money, especially life. A fact that’s only gonna get worse. So to ensure that you never become that “mate who never wants to do anything”, go out there and work for your right to party. You can make cash waiting tables, data capturing, delivering things, there might even be some medical studies going on that will interest you or your future offspring. Who knows, you might even cure MAKE something you didn’t know YOU ACTUALLY E ON MONEY ON THIS you had.

Brandies’ rep gets a makeover thanks to the Urban Brandy Cocktail Route. Words and Pictures Dale Kopping (@ExpressionsByDK)
Brandy is criminally under-appreciated and normally consigned to the end of the evening when all the beer has run out, all the vodka’s been spilled and your “most fun” mate kicks off a game of “Krack the Klippies”. And, that’s how the sliding door got broken. Demand for what is basically burnt wine (it’s called Brandewyn for a reason) is on the rise in South Africa and it’s actually no surprise as it mixes pretty well with any kind of cold drink. The people have spoken, and the Urban Brandy Cocktail Route has responded. This brandy experienced-based initiative was kicked off at a few select bars in the Cape, but now the route is open in
Johannesburg and Durban running through over 50 venues across the three cities. Venues on the tour include restaurants like Tokyo in Greenside, bars like the Steamworks in Lonehill and major luxury hotel chains like the Radisson Blu and the Protea Fire and Ice. And, of course, in the name of keeping things tidy, services supporting the safe use of the Urban Brandy Cockatil Route includes Rikki’s Taxis in Cape Town, ensuring that participants partaking get home safe and sound. To find your nearest stop on the Urban Brandy Cocktail Route, visit www.SABrandy.co.za. Scuba Steve, a magician with a pink drink!

You’re going to go to a lot of music festivals in the coming year. But are you going to survive any of them? Words Gordo Lawrence
T
here’s a reason music festivals make up almost 90% of 90% of people’s Bucket Lists. It’s a fact. Look it up. But as much as they’re going to change your life, scorch lasting memories in to your
brain (and maybe even your forearm too) and make you grateful for life, they’re also potential death traps, black holes for fun and regret-making machines. Some advice on doing them right...
Take extra jocks Hope for the best but, pack for the worst and all that. It’s a music festival. At some point it’s going to rain. It’s a music festival. At some point you’re going to pass out in the mud. It’s a music festival. At some point you’re going to find yourself in your tent thinking to yourself “I should have brought condoms”. You getting the idea? Be prepared.
Get a crew This doesn’t necessarily mean you have to arrive with a crew, but whatever you do, make some mates, they put the “fest” in music festival. If you’ve got your eye on a specific festival and all your mates are crying poverty/visiting the family/studying for an exam on Monday, this is absolutely no reason for you to not go alone. Music festivals are one of the best places in the world to make new friends, and we’re talking friends for life. Just try to make sure they’re the kind of people you wouldn’t be embarrassed taking home to Christmas lunch. But other than that, go wild.
14 STUDENTBRANDS.CO.ZA February 2015
Pace yo’self! Festivals are notorious for new experiences and the youth of our species experimenting with all kinds of “firsts”. But here’s some advice: If you’re going to take drugs, make sure you know what you’re doing! Firstly, you don’t need to take them all at once. Don’t be afraid to say no. And, don’t be afraid of ignorance or asking for help if you’ve taken too much either. Ask about what you’re about to do, get info, use Google if necessary. Stay hydrated and never, ever mix. If you’ve taken a pill, don’t drink and don’t smoke. Enjoy the experience for what it is, don’t freak out, it’ll soon be over.
Lost contact lenses. Another common peril
THE BLOW YOUR LOAN BUCKET LIST
Plan, plan, plan
You’ve just spent a decent chunk of your monthly cash on these tickets, make sure you get your money’s worth. That means having a plan and knowing what to expect. Do some research before you arrive, know what the organizers have planned and catch all of the headline acts. They’ve probably traveled a long way to be here, and there’s a reason they’re headlining, probably because they freakin’ rock.
Pack light, pack smart
Don’t forget the essentials
You’re going to a festival to drink, chill, dance and chill some more. You’re not there to catch up on missed lectures or Skype home to mom, so only bring the valuables and clothes you need. Remember your cellphone and obviously a charger. Not a bad idea to have a car charger also as securing a plug point in the bundu is often not easy or quick. Our attitude when heading out to a festival is: “Look at all my stuff. If any of this got stolen, would the world keep turning?” If the answer is yes, we take it. You don’t need a laptop, your Xbox, or your favourite pillow.
Despite what your mom insists, a full first-aid kit is not essential. Instead think of things that are going to make your festival experience a more tolerable, homey kind of one. Things like suntan lotion and a torch are absolute must-haves. And, while the girls reading already know not to forget to bring your own toilet paper, the guys need a bit of a reminder. So ladies…if you’d be so kind.
Hide your car key somewhere safe
Your bag and your tent are not considered safe as both can be stolen or broken into. We’re talking duct taping it to your leg, tying it to the inside of your pants, swallowing it for the duration of the festival. Whatever you do, don’t give your key to a friend to look after. They don’t care about getting home until it’s time to go home and since you drove, you’re the idiot. Don’t, under any circumstances, become that “poor fool who lost their keys and now has to wait for everybody to leave before wearing out their knees on the floor in front of the main stage” who everyone talks about on their drive home. You drunk mess.

Essential student Drop everything holidays and GO! Words and Pictures Vaughan Manuel and Lauren McShane
A
s a student, you’ll enjoy the benefits of numerous superpowers over the coming years. These include the ability to wake up at 10AM … guilt free, the ability to survive on a diet of Fruit Loops and Energade, and, also the ability to be the proud owner of a Mohawk - guys and girls.
Manuel
One other ability that runs the risk of going under appreciated is that of taking off on holiday on a Monday morning and not returning home until the following Monday night. Travel. It broadens the mind.
Our four best travel spots for students on a budget! CAPE TOWN IN THE SUMMER Cape Town is one of those insanely beautiful places where you can actually do a lot for almost nothing. There are backpackers in the centre of town and the MyCiti bus to get around. Once aboard, here are some cheapies: tan on the Atlantic Seaboard beaches, hike up Lion’s Head at sunset or Table Mountain in the morning, take the train all the way down the False Bay Coast line to enjoy some secluded tidal pools, beaches and boardwalks. ProTip: Buy boerewors rolls on Muizenberg beach for R17.
16 STUDENTBRANDS.CO.ZA February 2015
HOW YOU SAAAY...?
CAMP ALONG SA’S WEST COAST This rustic and dry stretch of coastline is still so, so underrated by locals. Unknown = deserted beaches, dirt-cheap places to pitch a tent and perfect Atlantic coastline waves to surf all by your lonesome. The refreshing terrain alone is worth the roadtrip. And, even if you don’t have your own tent,
beachcamp.co.za in Paternoster offer A-frame tents already set up for you, two steps away from the ocean. No electricity, gas-heated showers, camp fires beneath an explosion of stars and an awesome bar. Surfers and crayfish lovers, we suggest pitching your tent in Elandsbaai Caravan Park. It’s basically brilliant.
DURBAN If you live in Johannesburg and are partial to the common whinge about how “Jozi has no water”, just keep reminding yourself that Durban is a simple six hour drive away. Convince a few friends to chip in for petrol money, look up a backpackers in the 031 and hit the road for a road-trip that we guarantee you, you’ll repeat more than once. Durban is more laid back than Sandton, has less unpredictable weather than Muizenberg and has warmer water than anywhere in the Cape.
THAILAND For Saffers, Thailand is still one of the cheapest places to head out to (it’s also one of the few places our currency is actually stronger than). You can pick up a flight for around R5500. You can also find basic beach huts with god-sent electric fans for around R100 per night, rent a scooter to take you anywhere and eat some of the world’s tastiest dishes for next to nothing. Popular party islands include Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui and Phuket. Go watch The Beach with Leo Di Caprio if you need more convincing. But if you’re looking to get away from the crowds, visit Koh Lanta, Koh Tao, Koh Lipe and Koh Phangan (which only gets busy once a month for the full moon party.) February 2015 STUDENTBRANDS.CO.ZA 17

tips to make it rain! Words Taryn Farber
Making ends meet as a penniless student
N
ow that you’re officially of legal age, time to work out how you’re going to afford to take advantage of your new found status. In short: be smart, know what you’re getting in to, borrow-wise and lastly, you’re a student, act like it.
1
SPEND OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY
At some point in the next few years (or more likely, months), you’re going to be strapped for cash. Incidentally, the universe will ensure that the moment this happens will also be the moment you’ve borrowed your best friends last Rand and mom and dad are on the verge of disowning you. So time to be a grown-up and ask the bank for a student loan. Don’t blow it all in one day and be 100% clear about what you’re in for. This handy calculator will help you plan for what you’ve got to pay back in the next few years. http://bit.ly/1DmA57E
2
BANKS ARE LIKE FAMILY, THEY’RE FOR LIFE
4
PLAY THE STUDENT CARD LIKE IT’S MADE OF CHAMPAGNE AND OYSTERS
Banks work like cellphone service providers: once you sign up, the chances of you ever switching are razor thin. Choose wisely young spender, you’re with them forever. Shop around for the best overdraft deal, learn to negotiate and personalise and remember that missing a repayment means bad credit ie. financial criminal record.
You’re a student, act like it: demand stuff for free and discounts for anything and everything. You’ll only have this opportunity once and for a very limited time, so make it count. The technique is simple: 1. Present card 2. Cock head slightly to the side 3. Smile lovingly 4. Watch discounts add up 5. It’s a living! 18 STUDENTBRANDS.CO.ZA February 2015
3
DON’T FALL FOR THE FREEBIES
Banks are going to have a heavy presence on campus with free stuff being handed out and promises of the best deals on the planet. Don’t fall for it. Look past the bird in your hand for the crippling interest rate waiting in the bush.
STACKS
5
DON’T BUY NEW TEXTBOOKS. BORROW, BUY SECONDHAND, PHOTOCOPY.
OK, don’t photocopy because that’s plagiarism, but you get the idea. Textbooks are going to be probably the biggest drain on your student loan, so be smart about it. Scour the Uni message boards like they know the ending to the Walking Dead Season 6, surf online marketplaces like they’re selling pictures of your crush’s Instagram accounts and track down cousins, friends and dropouts who did your course before you.
6
GET WHATEVER YOU CAN FROM YOUR PARENTS/ FRIENDS/NEIGHBORS
One of the highlights of starting University is the knowledge that you’re finally moving out of home and no longer have to worry about what time you’re going to get home at night. Stay in your pajamas all day, guilt free. Eat Coco-Pops for dinner and McDonalds for breakfast. Host loud parties until 4AM. Sounds awesome doesn’t it? It is. Unless you don’t have any furniture, plates, mugs, a microwave, a fridge, a TV, lights, a bed… the list goes on. You know who has lots of old stuff to sponsor you and is probably looking for an excuse to buy new stuff for herself? Your moms.
K S: TEXTBOOCOLI C O THE BR CLUBS OF BOOK
7
LEARN TO BUDGET
Develop this incredibly good habit now. This is the “brushing your teeth” of the finance world. This stage of your life might seem complicated, but trust us, it’s the most stress free and easy to understand time you’ll ever know. What do you need? A place to sleep, food in your belly and a means of getting around. Anything else comes out of what’s left over. There you go, there’s your first budget. Now stick to it.

DON’T LET YOUR CELLPHONE SINK YOU
Your cellphone bill is likely to undo all the hard work you’re doing elsewhere to save money. Unseen data costs can skyrocket to blow your excess budget leaving you at home eating 4-minute Noodles on a Friday night because the 2-minute kind were just too expensive. Make absolutely certain that you’re on the right cellphone contract. Paying for calls you’re not making is a waste. Get what you can afford and stick to it.

Learn responsibility and people skills. You’re a student with wide-eyes, enthusiasm and brilliant ideas. One of those ideas could be the next Facebook. But only if you’re moving your mind, networking like mad and learning how the world works.

And they don’t even care if you run, cycle, skate or walk the 5km route. When you’re done, there are live bands for you to nurse your aching muscles to.
ALL AFRICA GAMES 4 – 19 SEP, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO We hosted the All African Games in 1999, our first major event since the AFCON in 1996. South Africa won the event by finishing top of the medals table that year, a position they only regained in 2011. This year 21 sporting events have been selected including swimming.
PRESIDENTS CUP 8 – 11 OCT, SOUTH KOREA After another battering at the hands of Europe in the Ryder Cup, Team America will be desperate to make things right in 2015 thanks to no wins in this tournie in over a decade. Expect to see Ernie Els, Branden Grace, Charl Schwartzel and Louis Oosthuizen representing South Africa.

FORMULA ONE 2015
The World League Round 2 takes place in March. South Africa will look to make the Semi-Final round again and will have a great opportunity hosting China, France, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czech Republic, Egypt & Switzerland. Semis in June.
IAAF WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 22 – 30 AUG, CHINA Usain Bolt returns as the World Athletics Championship heads to Beijing. South Africa has won 17 medals in 11 editions. We will desperately want to improve on the one bronze medal (Johan Cronje) from the 2013 World Athletics Champs.
Every year the bigwigs at Formula One make changes to the ever -popular spectator sport of sitting on your backside until the car comes around again in another two minutes. 2015 has been less of a landmark year in terms of revisions, but fixing some mistakes from last year and tweaking the rules ever so slightly should make for some exciting viewing.
FINA WORLD SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS JUL 24 – AUG 9, RUSSIA One name – Chad le Clos. The best swimmer in the world for 2014 will get the opportunity to cement that claim as he looks to take on the likes of Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps. It’s Chad, Cameron and Guilio Zorzi who’ll bring home our gold.
THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
CRICKET WORLD CUP 14 FEB – 29 MAR, AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND The premier showpiece in world cricket and the one that keeps getting away from South Africa takes place in Australia and New Zealand. The pitches down-under largely suit the South African team, but the format does not. Two groups of 7 before 3 knock-out stage games.
REDBULL SHIBOBO 6 SEPT – 30 SEP, ALL OVER SA Back for it’s third year, this 4-a-side soccer tournament looks to bring to the fore-front the best in the countries Sunday soccer leagues. A “Shibobo” is scored when a player dribbles the ball through an opposing player’s legs. The loser sits off the field for a full minute.
RUGBY WORLD CUP 18 SEP – 31 OCT, ENGLAND The last time we were in Europe for the WC, we took home the silver. This year, the big three will all be aiming to be the first nation to win the Web Ellis Trophy for the third time, while New Zealand want to be the first defending champions to win it again.
Honda returns Honda is back and they’re getting very buddy-buddy with McLaren. Should be good to see if they can rekindle their successful partnership from the early 90s. The Virtual Safety Car (VSC) Double yellow flags will be raised and a speed limit imposed on specific sections of the track, negating the need for a real-life safety car coming out. New Weight The minimum weight of every car has been raised by 1kg to 702kg. We didn’t even realise that 1KG could make a difference, but you learn something every day. ntroduced to the fashion world by New York based designer Alexander Wang a few years back, Sporte-Luxe is trending right now. Simply put: incorporating sporting or athletic gear into your outfit is Sporte-Luxe. It is the art of taking a tom-boy affair and turning into a sporty yet sexy woman. It is showing the girls that if they want to look a bit sporty, like they’ve just played a match of hard, grueling tennis in a pair of bright red heels, it’s because they can. Or

The two emcees sharpen their skills by writing rhymes and battling in afternoon park jams – where all emcees start and frequently go to share their craft with the masses. They, just like many other emcees, cut their teeth in these park jams and started building their names from the momentum they gained. On the state of the local scene Cubic explains: “Up until recently, kwaito has been the number one youth music genre in South Africa, alongside house music.” Hip hop failed to win the masses’ hearts, he says because of its depth and slower tempo.

DIG DIGITAL! NEWS FROM SOUTH AFRICA’S BEST TECH WEBSITE
MICROSOFT LUMIA 535 R1 700
The biggest surprise of January was just how good the next version of Windows - Windows 10 - is looking. It may actually be cool to use Windows again soon. Windows 10 is still 18 months away, but if you’re swinging back towards Microsoft you could do worse than starting today with this. It’s the first Lumia phone to be sold without Nokia branding (which Microsoft now owns) and at around R1 699 is brill value for money. It’s got a 5-inch display, a quad-core processor, and best of all will get a Windows 10 update when it arrives.
VODACOM SMART 4 TURBO R1 500 The latest addition to Vodacom’s budget range of handsets is the Smart 4 Turbo. It comes with a 4.5-inch screen and a stacked little Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. It’s even got a 4G/LTE modem inside. The downside? If you buy it on prepaid you only get 100MB of data allowance a month, then it’s top up time. And, at 150Mbps that’s about five seconds use.

ASUS PB287Q R13 000
4K is the new 1080p - a high definition standard that means more pixels and a sharper picture. And that’s exactly what this excellent 28-incher from ASUS has on its screen. It is pricey for a computer monitor, so just tell your bank manager that it’s for furthering your career in design or photography, and not for playing games.
DIG DIGITAL! SAMSUNG NX300 R7 000 (WITH 18-55MM LENS)
Don’t look now, but Samsung’s actually getting quite good at making cameras. Take the NX300, a compact mirrorless camera compatible with the Samsung NX series of lenses. It’s a fantastically well built snapper, that draws on retro styling to feel solid in the hand and yet comfortable, even with a fairly long throw lens attached. The APS-C sensor is larger than some mirrorless rivals, and the image quality is pretty good too, even in low light situations. It has serious photo credentials too, with both contrast and phase autofocus for quickly targetting subjects, and excellent on-board software and Wi-Fi connectivity with app-like features for sharing photos learned from its phones. And there’s even an optional viewfinder. Nice.
3 TOP MECHANICAL KEYBOARDS There’s one piece of kit no self-respecting PC gamer can afford to skimp on: a decent keyboard. It has to be tough, accurate and preferably - mechanical. Here’s 3 of the best in South Africa today.
COUGAR 700K R1 800 Simple and straightforward with tried and tested Cherry MX keys.
HISENSE UHD 3D LED TV R150 000
This flashy 85-inch TV hearkens from Hisense and costs an absolute fortune. But it’s gorgeous, to be sure, and simply beautiful to watch. What do you mean you can’t afford it? You can dream, can’t you? One day, a TV like this will be yours.
ASUS FONEPAD 7 R2 000
Forget the “fone” part of the name. No-one is ever going to replace a nice portable smartphone handset with a 7-inch tablet and hold it to their ears. Instead focus on the “pad”. Because this is a very fast tablet. At R1 999 for the 8GB version it’s expensive, but it comes equipped with an Intel Atom processor making Android feel like a desktop OS.
LOGITECH G910 ORION SPARK R2 500 Pricey, but highly customisable with a colourchanging backlight behind every key.

T
he Battlefield franchise is being pulled out of the traditional warzone setting after almost a decade of mostly military shooters. Now, developer Visceral (makers of the highly intense and highly brilliant Dead Space series) are trying something new. Players take on the role of detective Nick Mendoza and action follows his war on t he d r u g - l ords w ho r un t he city of Miami. Straight off the bat the new Battlefield is a lot less “point and shoot” and a lot more “plan-ahead”. Nick can use his phone to survey a scene and find the best entry points for example. Beyond this, stealth and
silent takedowns also make an appearance (as well as handcuffs and mace) which makes sense when you consider the tone of the game: cops probably wouldn’t be so keen to empty five magazines in a public space. Enemy intelligence has also been beefed up in an attempt to bridge the learning gap between single player and multiplayer. Sure this makes for a harder game, but there’s no better feeling than outwitting an enemy that has been plaguing you for the last 20 minutes. The three new multiplayer modes packed in include: Heist: take out an armoured truck, Rescue: free the hostages and Hotwire: endanger lives in a city chase. Visceral have also promised support for older consoles like PS3 and Xbox 360. So no FOMO.

his year, Opel have come out swinging with their new Adam (named for the companies founder), taking on the executive hatch segment with a vengeance. The Opel Adam is a head turner, no doubt and that, along with what it packs in, puts it in a direct game of chicken with the Fiat 500 and the Mini Cooper. When it comes to power, the Adam has two options: a 1.4 litre engine and a 1.0 litre with a turbo, something that’s becoming the norm in the small segment cars thanks to the never-ending quest for reduced emissions and increased enjoyment. Besides, we’re suckers for anything with a turbo. Like the Cooper and the 500, Opel lets

you customise your car in any way imaginable, something their target market is used to thanks to the interchangeable backs of cellphones and earcups of headphones. Different colored roofs, new mags, rear -view mirror covers, decals and even aluminium sports pedals for your inner race car driver. Inside the Adam, there’s a lot to play with including GPS, City Mode power steering, Bluetooth and USB (at least in the two premium models). Even though the base model excludes these features, it still sports Opel’s new ecoFLEX system, cased within a completely customisable dashboard. Taking into consideration everything the Adam offers, it’s not what we’d call cheap, but it’s definitely what we’d call a desirable first car. It is more stacked than a Swiss Army Knife and it’s as good looking as its competitors… maybe even more so.

racers is that dumb friend who’ll do anything if you suggest it, and that’s totally fine because it’s not likely this movie was chasing any Oscars. Tracers revolves around parkour, the French-born art of getting from A-Z while exuding as much energy and unnecessary wall climbing as possible. The movie starts quick, but soon turns into a crime job, and a big chunk of the first half consists of endless minutes of people (like main man Taylor Lautner who we’re still not convinced did all those cool moves) doing things that we all wish we could. you going to town on your nails like they’re biltong. Premise-wise, we’ve seen it all before: guy (Lautner) who’s down on his luck joins a “sports” gang but soon realises that they’re hardened criminals. Action rolls and in no time the main character is falling for the gang leader’s sister (Marie Avgeropoulos). So it’s full of clichés and not very imaginative ones at that, but the free running scenes distract us from thinking about how nonsensical the plot is and the fact that the love story may as well be in “Insert Name Here” format. One thing that will impress is the soundtrack. Of particular note is the tune Backdraft by the Death Beats. Well worth a quick Google. Good for a viewing. But only one.
