FROM DECEMBER Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum Open House On December 5th and 6th, Canyon High Key Club members and officers made their way down to the museum to help with an open house for families from all over the Panhandle. We were each assigned stations around the museum which included Meeting Santa, Arts & Crafts, and so much more! It was so much fun and a great opportunity for Key Clubbers to interract with the community!

Reeves-Hinger Comes to CHS for Hour of Code Canyon High’s Key Club joined with the technology department for the first annual Hour of Code event on December 11th in the 1300 hall. Fourth graders bussed over to the high school to learn basics of computer programming and Java skills through an online program of Hour of Code. The kids had an amazing time using problem solving skills to get characters from Angry Birds and Plants vs. Zombies through mazes and to even help Elsa and Anna from Disney’s Frozen to create beautiful snow flakes. Even the high school students and faculty were learning new things!
