Transformation of the artificial island of Christiansholm. Also known as the Paper Island, today it houses a number of empty industrial warehouses. The Buildings were to be re-invented as a creative environment and a hub for innovation across a variation of operations. Without loosing the interest of turists and other visitors. Covering: Rethinking the Block
5th semester project Groupwork with Anitha Vandvig Christiansen Creating a new concept for a block in the Latin Quarter of Aarhus. The intention is to create a variety of experiences as you pass through the block. A condensation of the spaces already found in and around the quarter. A secondary system of pathways is added, connecting buildings over the normal pedestrian route.

Context, Object, Program 1st year project
Topografic registration and survey of “Moesgård Strand”. Disecting an object found on site, in this case an acorn. Redrawing it and putting it through different “operations” to create a new program for the area. A variety of rest stops on a route between the trees, focusing different sences on natural phenomenas such as the whispering of the trees, the wind from the sea and light filtering through the leafs.

Added level: - View / overview of the room and the church
Multi-Space, Vindinge Kirke Student competition, 1st place October 2013 Groupwork with Vicki Buhl Lausen
Ideas on how to involve a crossarm of a midieval church with the daily life surrounding it. The congregation wanted a very flexible room with room for both larger gatherings as well as a place for reflection. Our suggestion highlights architectural elements such as arches, windows etc. which you would not otherwise notice. It also makes it possible to experience church services from new angles.
