It is estimated that over five million people volunteer through an organisation annually, while an additional 6.5 million provide informal volunteering support within their community.

Volunteering can mean different things to different people and may be and may be influenced by factors such as faith and culture the desire to do something worthwhile and their own lifestyle are all primary motivations.

National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering and will be held on 15 – 21 May 2023.

Volunteers are Change Makers, taking action to make the world a better place by contributing as the often- invisible workforce that supports the nation every day.

Thank you to all our volunteers!
