“Half way across Australia” ….. continuing on with my mission!

well, I have recently past half way across Australia having reached 15351 Eyre Highway, Kimba, South Australia at.

Kimba was established in 1915. The name is derived from the Aboriginal word, with the meaning of "Bush Fire”.

Kimba is also the home of “The Big Galah”. I have to thank Kayla from The Big Galah who shouted me a sandwich and a drink for the rest of tonight’s drive.

It is also the home of some very impressive silo art. Standing proudly at over 60m wide and 25m high The Viterra Silos at Kimba were painted by artist Cam Scale in September 2017 taking some 26 days and 200 litres of paint to complete.
