Llegué a Ibiza hace 51 años. Abandoné mi carrera de abogado, que debía culminar en una carrera diplomática, y me convertí en un hippy, viajando por países exóticos.

I arrived in Ibiza fifty-one years ago. I quit law school and the stepped off the path to a diplomatic career, turned into a hippy, and travelled to exotic countries.

I’ve spent the best years of my life in Ibiza and New York. In both places, so different one from the other, I have met very famous people and I have made friends in every walk of life with remarkable personalities, which helped me in my task as public relations.
I am in love with Ibiza. I’ve been promoting the island for fifty years even though I don’t own a business in the island, but I’m always there to help the authorities, regardless of their political orientation. International success, particularly in such a small island, might kill the goose that laid the golden egg and send it to a Kentucky Fried Chicken pan. We must fight wisely in favour of a sustainable Ibiza.
