I am an aspiring graphic designer who goes above and beyond to achieve my goals. Designing and creativity are what defines me. I am a very motivated and dedicated worker, and when I am designing, nothing can distract me. It is what I love to do: its my passion. I deliver my creative services by offering a wide variety of design skills that I have learned throughout my years in college. I have traveled and lived in various places in the world and in the country, and I love learning and experiencing new cultures and surroundings. Words to describe my style would be: clean, minimal, geometric, and natural. I have a passion for photography as well, so I tend to display my skills through my projects.

solstise branding // print products
DESIGN CHALLENGE Solstise is a lifestyle brand and start-up clothing company based in Ocean City, MD that my friend and I are starting this summer. This brand is founded on art, design, fashion, and the sea. It is also closely associated with the women’s surf culture; Not so much the professional surfing culture, but the laid back and beachy impression that goes along with the young minded individuals who live that lifestyle. Solstise represents a casual and fun lifestyle. This brand will provide clothing, accessories, and a blog for women to follow. The designs will include the logo itself, the tags for the clothing and accessories, a business card, and an example of a tee shirt design to be printed. NOOSTA package design // branding
DESIGN CHALLENGE The challenge is create and design a packaging concept for the existing brand called Noosta. Noosta is a small skin care line that was produced by my mom, and she did not have a logo or any sort of branding other than the skin care products themselves. We want the customers to look and feel happy and healthy, so Noosta aims to help women boost their self-esteem by having healthy skin. The brand consists of homemade organic skin and health products, such as facial scrubs, soaps, and other natural products. The packaging design will include the bottles, the labels, informational tags, and the logo design itself. These products would start off being sold in small, local stores and then eventually expand. The target audience for Noosta will primarily be women ranging from their 20’s - 40’s.
HURLEY summer 2013 internship designs
This past summer, I was chosen to be a part of the 10 week long 2013 Hurley Icon Summer Internship in Costa Mesa, California with 40 other interns from around the country. My position was the women’s graphic and apparel designer. I assisted in designing and developing graphics for SMU and seasonal lines for Hurley Women’s, as well as assembling tech packs and CADS for retail orders in Illustrator. These are a few of my strongest tee shirt designs that I created this summer. All together, I designed about 50 shirts. Most of them are photography based with a mix of vector graphics. I faced many challenges each day, such as working under deadlines and brainstorming themed design ideas in a short amount of time.

Young adults are always on the go and are always making last minute decisions when it comes to traveling- such as going to games, concerts, parties, etc. This campaign makes it easy for them to do so. To draw in this specific audience, this campaign was designed with a clean, colorful, and attractive look and feel. Sunrail introduced a new logo, color theme, typeface. This new campaign allows the user to involve themselves with the different types of social and interactive media. GROUP PROJECT // MEMBERS: NICOLE MCKINNON, STEPHEN KALTENBACH, HALEY POWERS
save the bay awareness campaign // ad’s // print products
DESIGN CHALLENGE The main approach for this campaign is to try to get people involved with the organization by visually showing them what is occurring in the Chesapeake Bay. The Bay takes over a large portion of Maryland and Virginia, so the citizens should be cautious about what they eat - seafood wise - and how they can be harmful to their bodies. One they see these 3 advertisements, they will realize that they need to step in and help clean the Bay for their own health and safety. The entire campaign is meant to inform, educate, and restore, but it also primarily focuses on the wildlife issues. The main message for the entire foundation is “Save the Bay,” but for this campaign it focuses on the wildlife issues. The main message is “What goes in the bay goes on your plate.” If you educate yourself and take in the deeper and visual meaning of the advertisements, you will understand the concept. The purpose is for people of all ages to easily comprehend with the advertisements.

Each aroma that the candle gives off is made for whatever mood you are in. There are little descriptions on the tags that explain each scent’s relation to certain moods and personalities. The target audience would be women ages 17 to 30.
