Heating capacities are not tailor made for the local region and climate since most technological advancement has occurred in the northern regions
Micro-CHP is potentially a significantly more cost-effective measure and should be
COMBINED HEAT AND POWER able to compete effectively with currently available energy systems. This study shall focus on dealing with the above hurdles, and strive to produce a commercially viable single-phase micro-CHP machine.
An extensive cost benefit analysis shall be
performed during the final months of the project to evaluate the market competitiveness of the system.
